ドラゴンスレイヤー4の原案ではプレイヤーキャラクターの設定は後のソーサリアン(ドラゴンスレイヤー5)そっくりでした。
人間の剣士、人間の魔法使い、ドワーフ、エルフ。4原案では家族設定ではなく同じ目的で集まった冒険者でした。

ニンテンドー3DSの日本版「洞窟物語3D」にドラゴンスレイヤー4からポチとロイアスがゲスト出演しています。

This video is a challenge to hell speedrun with Royas Worzen and only using blade.
Note that the 290 counter in the 3DS version is slower than the original, so I will measure the time myself.

途中まではファミコンと同じですが移植スタッフとしてバンダイナムコとBLACKJACK Corp.の名前がクレジットされています。
This is the ending video for the mobile phone version of Legacy of the Wizard.

PHASE 1(MSX1版): 最高難度のレア機種で最初の世界記録を創立。

PHASE 2(MSX2 ver.): I found a route that could be accelerate to 7x speed with a scroll that could be done by anyone, shorten the world record by 14 minutes.
PHASE 2(MSX2版): 誰にでも出来る巻物7倍速ルートを発見し世界記録を14分短縮。

PHASE 3(FC ver.): I achieved my limit, the long-awaited game clear within 30 minutes.
PHASE 3(FC版): 自分の限界、悲願の30分切りを達成。
