NYはブルックリンを拠点として活動するガレージポップバンド、クリスタル・スティルツ(Crystal Stilts)。
2008年にリリースされた1stアルバム『Alight Of Night』は80年代ポスト・パンク色の強い作品を打ち出し、見事にPitchforkの年間ベストアルバムにも選出されました。
「Through The Floor」は、4/12にThe Pains of Being Pure at Heartらが所属するSlumberland Recordsからリリース予定である2ndアルバム『In Love With Oblivion』に収録。アルバムの2曲目にあたります。
前奏から明らかに前作と一転しているのがメジャーコードから曲が始まっていること。
前作の陰鬱な印象からは打って変わって、明るい曲調となっています。
