最近密かに人気らしいEarth,Wind&Fireのライブ音源です。
Let's Grooveは入っていませんが・・・
モーリス自身のレーベル,カリンバレコードから2000年前半に出された音源で,
録音はアルマッケイが退団する直前の1980年ごろ。アルバムで言うI am～Facesくらいでしょうか。
グループ絶頂期の録音であり各曲オリジナルに忠実なアレンジで,
迫力は個人的にこの音源がNo.1かと。
日本ではCCCDで出されたので少し音質悪め。非常にもどかしい・・・
というわけで少し音質をいじってます。画像は固定,作業用にどうぞ。

The group was led by Maurice White and this new DVD & CD release captures them on stage in Japan in1990 during the last tour that Maurice made with the group following the release of the "Heritage" album. モーリス中心の作業用BGM後編。個人的にはむしろこちらが本命。
Touch The WorldからIlluminationまでの曲を入れています。
この辺りは聴いたことのない人も多いのではないでしょうか。
恐らくベスト盤には収録されない曲が多いです。
余談ですが画像は曲の年代とリンクするようにチョイスしてみました。
後最後のMiraclesですが,これは個人的に思い入れのある曲なので例外的に終盤に入れています。
加えてボーナストラックとして2曲おまけで入れておきました。
