Live performance by Willy & The Wonkeye, recorded at the Oriental Pearl Tower in Shanghai by TMS Live China on August 29th 2021.Willy & The Wonkeye is a vocal and guitar duo formed by Scotsman songwriter Chris Blair and Canadian guitarist Kevin Marsh. Much of their music contained themes of redemption and hope, family challenges and modern life struggles. From the countryside of Scotland to the alleys of Shanghai, their music comes from improvisions and spontaneous lyrics. Taking inspiration from artists such as Johnny Cash mixed with more Indie artists, vocalist Chris Blair is a poetic story teller who weaves melodies like a magician. Alongside Blair is guitar wizard Kevin Marsh, and together, they are Willy & the Wonkeye.Some of their songs reveal an exquisite sensitivity that might touch people’s soul, some poetries sculpted into an array of distinct personal facts.Willy & the Wonkeye was formed in 2017 in Shanghai.
