In How to Survive, the player character is stranded on a zombie-infested island. During the course of the game, the character will visit four islands while trying to survive. The islands are not completely abandoned as there are a few people to meet which provide main and side quests to solve.

In its core, this is an isometric shooter. However, besides the action there is also a survival element involved: the character has watch thirst, hunger and exhaustion and battle it by eating, drinking and sleeping. Thankfully the backdrop is a tropical island which means the basic means to survive are relatively easy to find.

This is accompanied by a crafting system which allows to combine pretty much everything for useful stuff. Solving quests and killing enemies gives experience points which eventually lead to a level up. Then one of the character's skill trees can be improved - what skills are available depends on the used character.

窓の外には、かすかな霧雨がしとしとと降り、彼女の悲しげな顔を映し出した。

人魔？……心の中でその言葉を何度も噛みしめた。
如月先生は人じゃなかったのか？人じゃないから殺されたのか？
雨水はひっきりなしに窓に打ちつけ、窓枠に落ちると悲鳴のような音を立てた。

空虚な月光が雨霧を通して、廊下に白い残像を投げかけた。
今夜、ここでは異常なことが起こるだろう。

Her fingers gently played the keys, engrossed in the melody she was creating. Outside the window, a faint misty rain drizzled, reflecting her sorrowful face.

Demon? ... I repeated that word in my mind over and over. Was Ms. Kisaragi not human? Did she get killed because she was not human? Rainwater relentlessly pounded against the window, making a sound like a scream as it fell onto the window frame.

I opened a drumlogue I bought when it was cheap.
It is intuitive and easy to use, including the sequencer, and the loop mode is fun.
You can also download user synths and treat it like a monosynth, which gives it a wide range.

これは3回目のミキシングであり、他人のミックスを実際に観察した後に行った初めての練習でもあります。 今回のカバーでは一部の楽器を差し替えましたが、それがミックスの段階で大きな悩みとなりました。 アレンジ段階で選んだ楽器によって、特定の周波数帯が不足してしまい、その補い方が分からなくなったのです。 もう一つの課題は、宅録環境において音響調整がされていないと、本当に処理が難しいという点です。 マイクの位置が少し変わるだけで、反響による濁った帯域も毎回変化してしまいます。
This was my third time mixing, and also the first time doing so after actually watching others mix as reference. For this cover, I replaced some of the instruments, which caused difficulties during the mixing phase. The choice of instruments during the arrangement stage directly led to the absence of certain frequency ranges, and I wasn’t sure how to compensate for them. Another issue was that without acoustic calibration in a home recording setup, it became extremely difficult to manage.
