During the Millennial Fair, Crono meets and quickly befriends a woman named Marle. He doesn’t care about fame.
He dives into boiling oceans chasing something called Azap Rubies —
precious gems cooked inside the lungs of massive volcanic whales.
His map is made of metal. His only friend is a guy named Haydar.
And the last thing he left behind?

“Gone deeper. I’ll return.”
He might be a little crazy.
But he’s our kind of crazy.

Darksiders II is an action-adventure game and the sequel to Darksiders. It takes place parallel to the first game where War, one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, went to Earth after he was stripped of his powers and in tricked in causing a war between heaven and hell. His brother Death is convinced of his innocence and sets out at the same time to resurrect humanity and prove his brother's innocence. He travels through different lands and locations to restore the mistakes and kill those responsible.

The gameplay with its third-person hack-and-slash is similar to the first game. The environments consists of large open world areas where dungeons lead to new locations. Next to the action there are also still many environment-based puzzles that require the manipulation of levers, tiles, pressure plates, doors and portals to progress. Compared to War in the first game, Death is much more agile and can perform acrobatic moves.

第12回の実況プレイです。 チャプター11に突入し、学園全体に漂う不穏な空気が一気に濃くなってきました。 生徒会や謎の人物たちとのやり取りが続き、誰を信じていいのか分からない状況に困惑しながら探索を進めています。 秘宝や封印、鍵といった要素も絡み合い、物語の核心に近づいている感覚はあるものの、理解が追いつかず頭を抱える場面も多かった回でした。 戦闘やレベル上げ、装備の試行錯誤を挟みつつ、遺跡や学園内を行き来する中で、これまで積み重なってきた違和感が少しずつ形になり始めます。終盤では衝撃的な展開もあり、改めてこの学園の異常さを実感しました。 まだ見えていない要素や取り逃していそうな部分も多く、次回以降どう収束していくのか不安と期待が入り混じっています。
