2019年7月に日本評論社より、斎藤環『オープンダイアローグがひらく精神医療』を刊行されました。
「オープンダイアローグ」＝「開かれた対話」を通じて精神疾患にアプローチする、この画期的な手法であり思想を、日本に導入すべく奔走する斎藤環さんが、今回対談相手に選んだのは、演劇の様々な手法を通してコミュニケーション論を展開する平田オリザさんです。
コミュニケーション教育にも積極的に取り組む平田さんと、医療現場の最先端にもいる斎藤さんに、オープンダイアローグの可能性と、現代社会におけるコミュニケーションの在り方を議論いただきます。
社会全体が「コミュ障」と言っても過言ではない昨今、どのような対話が存在し得るのか。

『かのこん』は、西野かつみによる日本のライトノベル。イラストは狐印が担当。『彼女はこん、とかわいく咳をして』（かのじょはこん とかわいくせきをして）の題名で2005年に第1回MF文庫Jライトノベル新人賞佳作を受賞し、出版時に現在の題名となる。この題名は、小説1巻の第1章に残る。
2006年より2010年まで、『月刊コミックアライブ』（メディアファクトリー）にて山木鈴の漫画版が連載された。また、2008年4月から同年6月までテレビアニメが放送された。なお2008年7月31日にはPlayStation 2用ソフト『かのこん えすいー』が発売された。

主人公の小山田耕太の一人称視点で進するラブコメディである。性描写が含まれ、「ラノベ史上最強の寸止め作品」とのキャッチフレーズがあるが、作者は「不純異性交遊小説」と主張する。
2021年5月現在、原作は15巻まで刊行されているが、ストーリーはまだ完結しておらず、未完となっている。

2008年4月5日より、「テレビ」としては唯一AT-Xにてのみ放送された。視聴年齢制限つき。また、4月15日からはバンダイチャンネルでも配信を開始。当初は無料配信を行っていたが、内容の一部に過激な表現があったとして第7話以降の無料配信を取りやめ、有料配信のみとなっている。なお、第一話についてはyoutube内のメディアファクトリーTVにて無料公開されていたが、権利者によるアップロードであるにもかかわらずBパートが利用規約に違反するとして削除された。

『かのこん えすいー』は、西野かつみ著のライトノベル『かのこん』を題材とした、5pb.から2008年7月31日に発売されたPlayStation 2ゲーム。
2008年4月から放送されていたテレビアニメ版とは別の完全オリジナルストーリー。2人の主人公「小山田耕太」と「源たゆら」の視点を切り替えるサイトチェンジと、決定するまでの時間によって気持ちの強さを判定する選択肢エモーショナルリサーチという2種類のシステムを搭載している。エンディングはマルチエンディング方式を採用している。

あらすじ：せっかくの夏休みだというのに、補習合宿で孤島へ連れてこられてしまった一同。しかし、場所は変われども行動は相変わらずで、ちずると望は耕太といちゃつき、たゆらはこの機にあかねとの仲を進展させようとしていた。
そんな中、島で出会った少女に耕太は不吉な予言を告げられる。「近いうちに誰か大切なひとを失うかもしれない」……果たして、この補習合宿は無事に終わりを迎えられるのだろうか?
