繋ぐため車両の向きが前後逆になってしまいます。

国道を走破しながらアリアルさんが地理や交通を解説してくれるシリーズ

14本目。茨城県の日立市と水戸市を結ぶ国道245号(全長44km)を走破します。

日立市の内陸寄りを走る国道6号現道に対し、海沿いを並走するのが国道245号。日立市内の南北交通はこの2本の国道が支えていますが、どちらも市街地を通る片側1車線道路で渋滞が酷いそうです。

日立市の南部、そして東海村に入ったところから片側2車線となり、そこからひたちなか市、水戸市にかけてはよく整備されている印象でした。

水戸市に入ってからのラスト9kmは国道51号、124号との重複区間になります(どちらも動画化済み)
