さぁ、今回もPowerDirector向けに作り直しは止まらない。青春ソングに近いのかも…。
初出は8thstyleになるHalfway of promiseをピックアップやり直していこう。収録内容は14GOLDの演奏画面でオプションは以下の通り。
1P・ハイスピード3.5+HARD+乱、2P・ハイスピード4+NORMAL+正規
SP穴譜面レベル☆11。正規について解説だが、同時押しやトリル、連続皿や押しにくい鍵盤、トリルとリズムの取りにくい鍵盤、交互と階段、こぼしやすく見える2連皿、ズレの部分に入る鍵盤やかまぼこ工場みたいな赤スクラッチの多さの耐性、BADを取るようにも見える4連皿とタイミングの合わせづらさがあるのでS-RANDOMをおすすめ。クリアの掴みどころか、3rdstyleのHolic、R5、4thのCHECKING YOU OUT、8thのBlame並みに☆11と言えるでしょう。☆10上位～☆11中位レベルくらいまで個人差が出る。ラストに長い連皿が来るので、HARDの方が抜けやすいと思われる(SPの特殊詐欺・個人差譜面リストを参照)。できなければ60%クリアが可能となるアシストイージーも付けて挑もう。

I used binder clips again to make an Armored Core–style mech with reverse-joint legs.
This time I went with the largest clips I’ve ever used—25mm wide, in white.
It’s super imposing, but it was tricky to make it stand, so I don’t think I’ll be using this size again.

今回家庭用の楽曲としてACには収録されていなかった曲をピックアップしておこう。
初登場は5鍵盤の方、家庭用DistorteDに移植して7鍵盤仕様にパワーアップしたものとなったCALDERAをご紹介。収録内容は以下の通り。
1P・ハイスピード1+NORMAL+正規、2P・ハイスピード1.5+HARD+乱
SP穴譜面レベル☆11。ノートの数に関しては787で、☆11の2番目の最小ノート(3rd初出のHolicは880、4th初出のCHECKING YOU OUTは700)。出現条件はEXPERTモードの隠しコース「beatmania」にてFINAL STAGEが待ち受けるのでプレイすれば解禁できる。
序盤から同時の3連、鍵盤と皿の組み合わせ、同時押しと皿絡みのいやらしい配置、連打と交互の繰り返しが続く、続いてBPMを120にチェンジしてスクラッチと鍵盤に向ける処理、終盤のラス殺しにも連符と縦連打+同時を絡むスクラッチ、最後の場所の交互と縦連もあるのでHARDオプションはここでゲージを削り取られると閉店が後を絶たないため、最後まで演奏するならEASYかノマゲに求めることとなる。

最近、ヒデヨシの調子が良い。どうやら、対戦相手の研究をしているらしい。秘密ノートに色々書いてあるのだ。チャチェは、その「らしくない」姿勢を、いぶかしがった。しかし、ヒデヨシにピンチが訪れる。地球チームが試合をしているときに、ロッカーから秘密ノートが盗まれたのだ！ 盗んだ張本人は、スラム街からやってきたイオという少女。彼女は、熱狂的なジュリアスのファンだ。だから、ジュリアスを色々挑発するヒデヨシが赦せなかったのだ。地球チームの試合後、ヒデヨシはスラムへ出掛ける。秘密ノートを取り返しに行くためだ。しかし、イオの姿がなかなか見つからない。スラムの少年たちに聞いても、冷たくされるばかり。それもそのはず、ここのスラムにジュリアスは多大な寄付をしているのだ。意外な一面を知るヒデヨシだが、目の前にイオが現れて……。
