日本では陽性判定後の死亡はコロナとして扱われます。
下記、厚労省の連絡では次のようにあります。

「なお、新型コロナウイルス感染症を死因とするものの数を都道府県等が峻別できた場合に、
別途、新型コロナウイルス感染症を死因とする死亡者数を内数として、公表することは差し支えありません」

つまり、内数で公表されていない数字は峻別されていない、という事になります。
自治体が内数で公表しているものの、メディアが一括にして報道してしまっている場合は
煽りたいがためにあえて内数を表示していない、と考えるのが妥当でしょう。
まあ、内数で公表しているところなんてないでしょうけどね。

いずれにせよ、陽性判定後の死亡はコロナとして扱われます。
よく海外では～万人が亡くなっている、と聞きますが米ではどうなってるでしょうか。

世界的に「疑われる例」は「死者」としての扱いがされています。
WHOがそのようにガイダンスを出してしまっているからですね。
