PSGがかなり大きめに聞こえます。
音量バランス自体は1ChipMSX(初期音量バランス)と近いと思います。

スターシップランデブーで多用している音色の場合、無改造（0.015μFローパスフィルタ）のほうが音が綺麗に聞こえますね。
エミュレーション版やローパスフィルタを1500pFに変更したFMPACだと高音がかなりきつく感じます。

スターシップランデブーで印象的なノイジーな金属音の場合は、フィルタで高音がこもりがちのほうが良い効果がでるのかもしれません。

PanasonicのMSXMUSIC内蔵MSX2+/turboRに近いかと思います。
OPLLが小さめです。

サウンドはハードウェアエミュレーションで高音がかなり出ます。
OpenMSXの音と1ChipMSXの音は近いです。（Carnivore2も）
無改造実機に比べると結構気になるかもしれません。
ローパスフィルタを0.015μFから1800pFに変更改造した実機の音に近いかと思います。

個人的にはMSX-MUSIC内蔵のソニー機か、MSX-MUSIC非搭載機＋FM-PACの音のバランスが好きです。
（現在、手元にない為、録音できませんが…）
