高画質版はこちら http://togotv.dbcls.jp/20100326.html#p01 NCBI GEO(Gene Expression Omnibus)は、遺伝子発現バンクとして、主にマイクロアレイデータの受け皿となっています。様々な種類の遺伝子発現データを受け入れるため、そのデータ単位がデータセット（研究・目的ごとにまとめられた発現データの集合 (発現データマトリクス)）、サンプル（測定に附された生体試料）、プラットフォーム（発現定量のための測定プロトコル）の3種類あることや、実験手法の多様さによって全体のデータの傾向を掴みづらいのも事実です。そこで、この NCBI GEO を快適に使い、データの全容を俯瞰するための仕組み「遺伝子発現バンク(GEO)目次」、通称「GEO目次」が国立遺伝学研究所の大久保公策教授らによって開発され、現在DBCLSによって維持されています。
