周南市遠石へ（旧徳山市＝徳山藩のあった場所）午後 花岡八幡宮を出てからJRで櫛ヶ浜へ出てバスで旧徳山内の神社へ向かい巡拝した記録本編（長いです・・・・・・・）
工業都市徳山のコンビナート群を見下ろす鎮守の森 2年越しで参拝できたできた満足。

国の登録有形文化財指定。
拝殿は山口県特有の楼拝殿形式。本来門だが板を貼り拝殿機能を持たせて用いる。
推古天皇30年にこの地の浜の大石（おおいわ）へ神馬に乗られた八幡神が降臨された御神託の・・・・「嗚呼遠し」が地名の由来です。
