LEGO Marvel Avengers is a spin-off of the successful LEGO Marvel Super Heroes focusing on the story of the films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The game covers the events of the cinematic universe up to Avengers: Age of Ultron and covers content seen in Captain America: The First Avenger, Avengers Assemble, Iron Man 3, Thor 2, and Avengers: Age of Ultron.
Aside from the main story levels focusing upon the events of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the game has a number of open-world 'hub worlds', marking the return of 'Superheroes's' Manhattan and the SHIELD Helicarrier - but also introducing new hub worlds in the form of areas such as Sokovia, Malibu, and Asgard.
Voice clips taken directly from the film are mixed with new original recordings to provide a humorous take on the events of the major events of the Marvel Cinematic in LEGO's trademark way.

Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty is a faithful remake of Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee where the pre-rendered sceneries are recreated in real-time 3D without changing the original gameplay. It also replaces the single screens linked together of the original version into a true 2.5D side-scrolling game.
While there are various enhancements and details to the character and the scenery, the basic gameplay is still largely similar in a side by side comparison. The GameSpeak system Abe uses to command and talk to other characters start with the same commands, but can later be expanded. This version of the game supports leaderboards for the completion time of each mode and the overall game. There are three difficulty levels and the game. It includes the original cooperative function of the original game when another player can take over when the first player dies, taking turns controlling Abe.

The player controls a clone in escaping an underground testing facility throughout 60 levels that are connected by an overworld, the main PTI building. The 'bad guy', Malcom Alderman, is Senior Quality Assurance Manager at the facility and he runs it over night.
To progress in this game, the player has to solve puzzles and get out alive and well. Although dying doesn't have much repercussions since the player's character is a clone, and as such, death is never permanent. Therefore dying is used as a game mechanic to discover how certain puzzles can be solved, including avoiding lasers, cameras, robots or bosses. This can be achieved by using stealth, and thus shadows, to an advantage.
The game was first developed for the Wii U and later ported to other platforms.

In Super Mario 3D World, levels alternate free roaming in their three-dimensional environment with bidimensional platform action, following the manner of former 3D Mario games.
Game play is singleplayer or multiplayer up to 4 players. Available character roster consists of Mario, Luigi, Peach, Toad. Each of them has different statistics in terms of time needed to sprint, run speed, jumping height. Some tasks can be achieved with more ease, or only, by a character shouldering another one.

The Darkbots are in the process of conquering the universe and enslaving the inhabitants. Armillo's planet is also affected and so the armadillo hero proceeds to fight against his enemies and rescue his friends.
Armillo generally moves fast in the form of a ball and has a few special abilities which are usually used to break through certain walls or get rid of enemies. The levels are built as a labyrinth of narrow one-way corridors with some junctions. Of course they are feature a number of obstacles such as arrows which fling Armillo into a direction, slippery ice surfaces, endless pits or boss fights. Each level also has a parallel universe which is a accessed by finding teleport stations. Armillo can only survive a limited time in there and the gameplay adds basic switch puzzles.

Bruce Wayne is a candidate for the award and changes into Batman to pursue them, teaming up with members of the Justice League.
The game has an open-world concept with gameplay similar to its predecessor. It can be played as a classic Batman character as well as other various DC Comics superheroes. The suits of Batman and Robin have been changed, adding completely new suits such as Batman's Power Suit and Robin's Acrobat Suit. As well as an original story that features voice acting for the first time, the game has a total of 15 levels and a completely explorable open-world Gotham City.

The Gameplay is similar to previous LEGO Star Wars games where players interact in a LEGO-themed Star Wars universe filled with action, platforming, and puzzle-solving. Over 200 playable characters are available in this game. Each player has their unique abilities, including new ways to incorporate droids and Jedis into these challenges.
The levels also alter in theme, from areas relying heavily on the game's platform, puzzle-solving mechanics to large spaceship battles to cover-based shootouts during combat against stormtroopers. The hub world is a galaxy in which each planet is its own world with the chapters, as well as additional missions.

Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars is a 2D puzzle game starring Mario and Donkey Kong. The monkey still likes to kidnap and the player has to complete levels helping Minis, wind-up toy versions of Mario and other characters, while solving puzzles. They walk by themselves and need to be guided to an exit. The player interferes by using touch on the GamePad to manipulate the environment. This is done by leading enemies away, covering traps, building or removing girders and adding or removing springs. Some levels have a character that needs to be freed and guided to safety. To defend the base's core, players must watch the monitors carefully for any oncoming attackers and switch control to one of the available cameras in order to fire its weapon. The game features 100 missions and an editor mode that allows players to edit the behavior of enemies in levels and share them online.

1001 Spikes is a difficult platformer designed with the retro aesthetics of an 8-bit game. It is an enhanced version of Aban Hawkins & 1000 Spikes. The protagonist is Aban Hawkins who explores different environment in search for his father, the archeaologist Jim Hawkins, and the treasure of Poko-Mum rumoured to be behind a golden door.
The title references the amount of lives the player has to complete the game. These are needed to complete the hard levels filled with enemies and traps such as spikes, boulders, falling platforms, crushing blocks, etc.. Basic controls consist of movement, a regular and a high jump, and an attack move. A large amount of characters and additional costumes can be unlocked throughout the game, usually by discovering gold skulls in levels. Certain characters have specific abilities and their own story elements, but cannot be swapped on the fly or between levels; they each have their full campaign.

Runner 2 is the sequel to Bit.Trip Runner. The game's look and feel is very different from the original. Runner 2 forgoes the original's retro look in favor of a cartoon art style. The game's story takes on a more humorous tone, and is narrated by Charles Martinet.
The game expands on the original in several ways. There are several new actions, such as rotating the analog stick to trace Commander Video's path around a loop. In addition, level selection takes place on a map screen laid out similar to other classic platform games. Levels offer alternate paths which can be either easier or harder to complete depending on the path. There are also mid-level checkpoints, though these are optional, and the player earns more points if he/she chooses to skip them. Collecting all gold in each stage allows the player to shoot Commander Video out of a cannon into a target to score extra points.
