上級はリッジレーサーの上級とT.T.に関するリッジシティ・ハイウェイコースをベースに、以前までの形を見直ししてジャンプと複合コーナーがなくなり、走りやすくした構成になった。ただし、このコースはソロプレイしかできない。前編のコンピューターバトルでも制限時間が50秒ですので、3周以外に設定したらまた制限時間が厳しくなるのも辛いのです(特に自分が思うのは5周と6周)。一度でも壁に接触したら立て直しが難しいため、ノーミス必須の攻略だと思え(時間が足りなかったら難易度変更するのも手がある)。後編のタイムトライアルなら壁に接触しないで攻略が最難関(特に3周以外)。どれだけぶつからないかがキーポイントですが、4周設定はこのコースにゴールインかつノーミスできるまで何度もやり直しし、大苦戦しました。5周と6周でもクリアまで長めでしたが、体力に気を使わず、複合コーナーに良く壁接触していた心残りに鍛錬されたうえ、疲れがたまってきました。次がいよいよ攻略の難しい山コースを挑戦することに…。
