モーツァルトのピアノ協奏曲の中でも、最も人気がある第20番ニ短調の第1楽章をお送りします。モーツァルトは短調のピアノ協奏曲を2曲書いていて、この曲ともう一つは先日第2楽章をお送りした第24番ハ短調です。いずれもパッションに満ちた意欲作です。特にこのニ短調は、それまでのモーツァルトの作風から一転して、ロマン派を彷彿とさせる名作と言っていいでしょう。出だしのシンコペーションから幻想的で、聴く人の心をひきつけます。ベートーヴェンは、とりわけこのニ短調の協奏曲が好きだったらしく、「なんという美しい曲だろう！私にはこのような美しい曲は書けない！」という言葉を残したといわれています。ベートーヴェンは、この曲を何度も弾いたと思われ、自らカデンツァを残しています。この動画でもベートーヴェンのカデンツァを採用しました。このカデンツァは、テンポや強弱が逐次変わり、さらに劇的です。最後のオーケストラの全奏に移るところはまさにベートーヴェンそのものです。

ベートーヴェン 交響曲第9番ニ短調「合唱付き」 第2楽章 Symphony No.9, 2nd Movement by L.v. Beethoven
前回に引き続き、第九の第2楽章をお送りします。この楽章は出だしから強烈なインパクトがあるので、誰でも一度聴いたら忘れられません。特に随所に出てくるティンパニの稲妻のような動機は印象的です。このような速いスケルツォは、一般的には第3楽章に置かれますが、ここでベートーヴェンは、なぜか第2楽章に持ってきました。これはおそらく第1楽章がゆったりと流れる遠大な楽章なので、その次にアダージョの楽章が続くと「ダレる」と思ったからでしょう。つまり第九は全体として、緩→急→緩→急 という構成になっています。この楽章は音符の数が多いので、Musescoreで再現するのは大変かと思うでしょうが、単純な繰り返しが多いうえ、後半部が、前半部の全くの繰り返しになっているので、意外に早く仕上がりました。さてどうでしょうか？
