今後脅威となりうる感染症への備えとして、平時は企業のニーズに応じたバイオ医薬品を製造し、感染症パンデミック発生時にはワクチン製造へ切り替えられるデュアルユース設備を有する拠点を整備するとともに、ワクチン製造に不可欠な製剤化・充填設備や、医薬品製造に必要な部素材等の製造設備を有する拠点等を整備しようとする場合に、その設備導入等を支援します。
2次公募では、令和4年3月25日から5月27日の期間に実施した1次公募における採択結果を踏まえて、製剤化・充填拠点と部素材等の製造拠点を重点的に採択する予定です。
