Runner 2 is the sequel to Bit.Trip Runner. The game's look and feel is very different from the original. Runner 2 forgoes the original's retro look in favor of a cartoon art style. The game's story takes on a more humorous tone, and is narrated by Charles Martinet.

The game expands on the original in several ways. There are several new actions, such as rotating the analog stick to trace Commander Video's path around a loop. In addition, level selection takes place on a map screen laid out similar to other classic platform games. Levels offer alternate paths which can be either easier or harder to complete depending on the path. There are also mid-level checkpoints, though these are optional, and the player earns more points if he/she chooses to skip them. Collecting all gold in each stage allows the player to shoot Commander Video out of a cannon into a target to score extra points.

Black Ops II is the ninth main title in the Call of Duty franchise and the sequel to Black Ops. It is set primarily in the near future of 2025 with a third of the game also taking place in the late 1980s. The plot centers on a new cold war between China and The United States over Rare Earth Elements. Darksiders II is an action-adventure game and the sequel to Darksiders. It takes place parallel to the first game where War, one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, went to Earth after he was stripped of his powers and in tricked in causing a war between heaven and hell. His brother Death is convinced of his innocence and sets out at the same time to resurrect humanity and prove his brother's innocence. He travels through different lands and locations to restore the mistakes and kill those responsible.

The gameplay with its third-person hack-and-slash is similar to the first game. The environments consists of large open world areas where dungeons lead to new locations. Next to the action there are also still many environment-based puzzles that require the manipulation of levers, tiles, pressure plates, doors and portals to progress. Compared to War in the first game, Death is much more agile and can perform acrobatic moves.

The planet Avalice is under attack by alien forces led by Lord Brevon. He has killed the King of Shuigang, enslaved the prince, and is now after the powerful Kingdom Stone, an artifact that can help him ensure control of the galaxy. Now Lilac the dragon, Carol the wildcat, and Milla the hound are on a quest to defeat the alien invaders and protect the Kingdom Stone.

Freedom Planet is a 2D platformer whose gameplay is based on several Sega Genesis-era games. The player may choose which heroine to use, and each has her own abilities and exclusive stages. Lilac can run at high speeds and defeat enemies with her melee attacks. Carol uses her martial arts skills, and uses both her wall-jumping abilities and motorcycle to get from place to place. Milla can create shields with her psychic powers, throw items, and float to distant platforms.

The game features a story-based Adventure mode, a purely gameplay-based Classic mode, and a Time Attack mode.
