Just like the first game, Noitu Love 2: Devolution is a fast side-scrolling game. Players guide Xoda Rap to find the evil mastermind behind the attack. The main character can no longer transform into different shapes through the Evomatics device. Instead, a mouse-based targeting system is introduced.

The game expands on the original in several ways. There are several new actions, such as rotating the analog stick to trace Commander Video's path around a loop. There are also mid-level checkpoints, though these are optional, and the player earns more points if he/she chooses to skip them. Collecting all gold in each stage allows the player to shoot Commander Video out of a cannon into a target to score extra points.

Darksiders II is an action-adventure game and the sequel to Darksiders. His brother Death is convinced of his innocence and sets out at the same time to resurrect humanity and prove his brother's innocence. He travels through different lands and locations to restore the mistakes and kill those responsible.

The gameplay with its third-person hack-and-slash is similar to the first game. The environments consists of large open world areas where dungeons lead to new locations. Next to the action there are also still many environment-based puzzles that require the manipulation of levers, tiles, pressure plates, doors and portals to progress. Compared to War in the first game, Death is much more agile and can perform acrobatic moves.
