デンプシー・ロール（英: Dempsey roll）は、ボクシングの元世界ヘビー級王者ジャック・デンプシーが編み出した必殺ブロー。
『はじめの一歩』では主人公幕之内一歩の必殺ブローの一つとして使用される。
実際のデンプシー・ロールは左右死角への回り込みに近いものだが、作中の解説では上半身を数字の8の字を横にした軌道（∞）で振り続け、体が戻ってくる反動を利用して左右の連打を叩き込むものであり、威力は折り紙つきである。
しかし、ボクシング技術の発達した近代では「規則正しい振り子運動でカウンターを合わせ易い」という欠点があるため、恐るべき破壊力を持ちながらもいつしか使用者がいなくなり、次第に歴史の闇へと消えていった諸刃の剣であるとされる。
