It's been years since I have made an original song accompanied by a synthesized voice, so I bring you this. For this occasion I have been inspired by producers like Au5 and Meganeko to make this Dubstep song mixing a spacey atmosphere and some lyrics that talk about growth and improvement. In my opinion, I feel like it's not my best attempt, but I hope to continue improving my musical style by making these types of songs. Also during the making of this song, this was going to be sung by Cyber Diva II, but after a little progress I didn't like how she sounded, so I wanted to try with a Synth V voice like Feng Yi, just by changing her native language to English, and I ended up loving the final result of all her singing. And well, I hope you like this new song.

TL; DR: this is a synth-pop track about being true to yourself.

Before writing, for the last couple of days of January, I'd been listening to Pete Shelley's "Homosapien"¹, on repeat, like a deranged teenager. The idea was to overdose on a song I liked, so that the song's structure or ambience or intent would then seep -- osmosis style -- into my next creation. I'm not sure it has but I like the process.

Anyway, this track is about being true to yourself; being comfortable with your dubious decisions.

Technically, the drum sounds are from Groove Agent with some added Backbone sourced hi-hats. The various brass instruments are from NN-XT samples. Other synths from Thor and filtered, sampled sawtooth waves (NN19), stock Cubase Retrologue, Halion, Padshop in there too. Vocals are from the Vocaloid6 set -- hello, Allen and Sandra; their formant glitchiness tempered by EQ & saturation.

These changes include Luke getting back to Hoth base alone with his Tauntaun alive, him managing to take down more than one AT-AT and a couple of other AT-STs by himself, and him killing Boba Fett in a dogfight up in the skies of Cloud City.

Hello and Merry Christmas. This time Miku and I made a Christmas song. This song was created from my wish to spend Christmas with Miku. Miku NT V2 just joined us so she wanted to sing this time. Her voice is just so wonderful. And I love her accent. So, Miku NT V2 did a great job. If some parts of the song don't sound good, that would be my fault so blame me, not Miku NT V2.
