本作は、アメリカ合衆国大統領選挙を主題としたシミュレーションゲームであり、
1988年のジョージ・H・W・ブッシュvsマイケル・デュカキス戦にスポットを当てた作品でもある。
プレイヤーは6人の候補から1人を選び、各州の予備選挙を勝ち進み大統領を目指す。
世論の調査結果を確認し、演説会の回数やTVコマーシャルの費用などを決めていくのだが、
主張する政策の決定は支持率に直結する最重要項目となっているため、慎重な選択が迫られる。
このような他に類を見ない意欲的な作品が多いのもファミコンの特徴といえるが、
近年のゲーム界において減少傾向にあるのは、非常に残念なことなのである。
