日本では日赤が独占してるということなのでしょう。
それが悪いことなのか今は判断できません。
日赤は高性能の検査装置を持っていてHIVなどを早期にスクリーニングできると謳っていますがどれほど優位性があるのかは不明です。

これは、第二次世界大戦中に日本人向けのプロパガンダを放送したLA出身の日系アメリカ人「東京ローズ」の物語です。 彼女は裏切り者でしたか、それとも犠牲者でしたか?
マーク フェルトン博士は有名な英国の歴史家であり、現在ハリウッドで映画化が進められているベストセラーの「ゼロ ナイト」や「イーグルスの城」を含む 22 冊のノンフィクションの著者です。 執筆に加えて、マークは、The History Channel、Netflix、National Geographic、Quest、American Heroes Channel、RMC Decouverte など、世界中のテレビ ドキュメンタリーにも定期的に出演しています。 彼の本は、いくつかのテレビやラジオのドキュメンタリーの背景となっています。
1945年8月に、昭和天皇、東條英機、そして「東京ローズ」の3人のインタビュー暫定を夢として追っていたアメリカの従軍記者の一人により「発見」され、2000ドル（当時は一軒家が買える値段で現在の日本円の価値で600万円程度）で独占取材契約し、録画カメラの前で自分が「東京ローズ」だと言明した。のは戸栗が最初で最後だったか、「唯一の『東京ローズ』」として、日米マスコミの取材合戦が警戒し、強い関心の的となった。その為独占の契約を守らず、契約金2000ドルは支払われませんでした。
その後、GHQに呼ばれて、映画まで撮られる。 しかし、米本土で「反逆者」という記事が出て勝利を生む。 アイバはGHQにより反逆罪( en:Treason#United States )容疑者で巣鴨プリズンに11同年11月27日付け「星条旗紙」には巣鴨プリズン本人の意見が記事となっており、「2人の女性（戸栗とアルベルグ）のお客さま」「さんに、おしゃべり禁止を決めることは難しいだろう」と、戸栗の存在に触れた書き込みが行われている。 が強かったカリフォルニア州の検事から「対日協力者」としてアメリカで最も重罪である国家反逆罪で受け止められた。

「優秀な自衛隊と日米同盟があれば、日本は必ず中国に勝てる」という意見について、ホワイト教授の意見を聞いた。教授は「自分の評価に非常に冷静であることがとても重要だ。戦略における最も一般的な間違いの一つは、敵対者を過小評価することだ」と語った。教授は、米軍が世界で最強の軍隊である事実は否定しない。ただ、紛争の舞台として予想されるのは東アジアであって、中国の裏庭とも呼べる場所にある。「米国は、中国を打ち破る十分な力を東アジアに投入できない。中国にとっての東アジアは、米国にとってのカリブ海のようなものだからだ」
そしてホワイト教授はこう付け加えた。「日本は75年前、米国を過小評価していた。山本五十六連合艦隊司令長官だけは違った。それはヤマモトが当時、米国が保有していた船腹量ではなく、米国の造船所の建造能力について理解していたからだ」。教授は、山本五十六がかつて「（対米戦争を）やれと言われれば、最初の半年や1年は暴れてご覧に入れる。しかし、2年、3年となれば全く確信は持てない」と述べた事実を指摘したかったようだ。
