COVID-19 ORIGIN: COVID-19 most likely emerged from a laboratory in Wuhan, China. The FIVE strongest arguments in favor of the “lab leak” theory include:
The virus possesses a biological characteristic that is not found in nature.
Data shows that all COVID-19 cases stem from a single introduction into humans. This runs contrary to previous pandemics where there were multiple spillover events.
Wuhan is home to China’s foremost SARS research lab, which has a history of conducting gain-of-function research at inadequate biosafety levels.
Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) researchers were sick with a COVID-like virus in the fall of 2019, months before COVID-19 was discovered at the wet market.

なぜ入社3日で「退職代行」に駆け込むのか？【労働経済学】
入社3日で「もう辞めたい」
SNS上の数字を追うだけなら、退職代行はただの異変や流行に見える。 だが、3年以内離職率33.8%、退職代行を使った退職を経験した企業8.7%という厚労省・東京商工リサーチのデータを並べると、これは「珍事」ではなく「もとからあった離職」が見えやすい形で表面化しただけだとわかる。
今回は、労働経済学(売り手市場)、組織心理学(歓迎不足・期待調整不足)、行動経済学(沈没コストと選択肢の比較)を束ねて、なぜ「辞めるまでの距離」がここまで短くなったのかを追いかけます。視聴者の答えを決めつけずに、数字と理論で前提を一度ほどきたい。

大学講師の哲学講座 現代の「時間の哲学」(8)
ベルクソン『意識に直接与えられたものについての試論』の時間論3回目、これで一区切りです。
途中で同時代の数学者・天文学者であったポアンカレの関連する議論も引用して、「時間の計測」とはどういうものなのかも確認しました（これは以前に雑談配信で出た話題でもありました）。
ベルクソンの主張の要点は、計測される時間、とりわけ科学の時間は対象となる現象と基準となる別の現象（たとえば時計の状態）の「同時性」を数えるだけで、決してその「あいだ」、「流れる時間」そのものは問題にならない、ということです。
「決定論者の議論は、『行為は、一度なされたからには、なされる』という幼稚な形を取る」という批判が、以前に見たパトナムの（相対性理論から決定論を導く）議論にそのまま当てはまることも確認しました。相対性理論の時間はまさしく「流れてしまった時間」であり、パトナムはまさしくその中で「決定済」のものをモデルにして決定論を導いていたからです。
