The player controls a child who has fallen into the Underground: a large, secluded region under the surface of the Earth, separated by a magic barrier. The player meets various monsters during the journey back to the surface. Some monsters might engage the player in a fight. The combat system involves the player navigating through mini-bullet hell attacks by the opponent. They can opt to pacify or subdue monsters in order to spare them instead of killing them. These choices affect the game, with the dialogue, characters, and story changing based on outcomes.

All of the cutscenes are live-action, which harkens back to the brief period of full-motion video games during the 1990s, which had very similar games. You follow Nagano, a hapless man who finds himself harassed by bullies for no particular reason. It's up to you to make a choice on whether Nagano should fight back or run away.

有名な能力画面カーソルバグですが、実は戦闘中にもできることが判明しました。
これを使うと技攻撃力 $06CC-$06D0 を書き換えられるため、通常パンチが彗星拳以上の威力になったりします。
これとゴールドクロスを併用するとラスボスも一撃で倒せるようです。

なお、これらのカーソルバグの原因は、左右キーを押した際のビープ音再生処理で作業用変数 $10 が書き換えられ、メニュー項目数が誤認されてしまうことのようです。
オーディオ用作業変数は隔離した方が望ましいとは思いますが、メモリ容量の問題もあるのでなかなか難しいところですね。

追記: カーソルは上方向の範囲外に飛ばすこともできますが、そうするとなぜか強制的にターンが開始してしまうようです (詳細未解析)。

有名な能力画面カーソルバグですが、カーソル移動を適切な回数行うことで敵撃破フラグを立てることもできるようです。
ただし斜めビタ押しが多数要求されるので、人力ではやや厳しいと思います。

動画内では瞬の状態 ($06D5) を操作しています。
他にも以下のメモリを操作できるようです:

* $06E5: 左上を 15 回押す
* $06E9: 左上を 1 回押した後、左下を 16 回押す
* $06ED: 左上を 1 回押した後、左下を 52 回押す

他に、自分の能力値や星座を操作することもできるようですが、そこまで有用な現象は起こせないと思います。

Pokémon: Red Version is part of the first generation of games within its famous series, known for having a very large number of beneficial glitches. In fact, the game can be completed in less than one minute of in-game time using save data corruption (as evidenced by this run ( https://tasvideos.org/4329M )), but this run avoids such techniques in favor of activating an entirely different glitch avoiding save data corruption.

As a matter of fact, CasualPokePlayer (https://tasvideos.org/Users/Profile/CasualPokePlayer) demonstrates that such a run can be completed in as few as 29 A presses in total. An important detail to note is that regular text boxes can be cleared by pressing B rather than A.

This run relies on the "Mail" item being glitched when it is stolen with the move "Thief" during a double battle and, with further setup, taking advantage of a parser to read a section of memory later corrupted by the glitched mail, which causes the game to immediately skip to the Hall of Fame and credits.

Savage is a multi-genre game that was developed for home computers such as the ZX Spectrum, Commodore 64, and Amiga. The Amiga port is notable for having a memorable soundtrack composed by Kevin Collier. The game is split into three parts, each with their own gameplay styles. Game 1 is an action platformer about the titular Savage's escape from a dungeon, Game 2 is a first-person flight simulator-like portraying Savage's journey to the prison that holds his maiden, and Game 3 is an action game where Savage has a bird go into the prison to rescue his maiden and the other prisoners of the Dark Guardian.

Balatro is a poker-themed deck-building roguelite game developed by LocalThunk and published by Playstack in 2024. Using a deck of regular playing cards, players are tasked to score a minimum amount of chips each round with a limited amount of hands and discards. A complete run features 8 Antes, each with 3 blinds: the Small Blind, the Big Blind and a Boss Blind. Both Small and Big Blinds can be skipped if they opt to use a tag, with unique effects. Players can also improve their decks with Jokers, Tarot and Spectral cards, with unique effects. Planet cards can be used to upgrade a hand up a level. All of these as well as regular or enhanced playing cards can be bought in the shop after each round. Vouchers are also available there, with effects lasting for the rest of the run if bought.
