E653系は、1997年から2012年まで常磐線の長距離特急フレッシュひたちで運用されていた、5色のカラーバリエーションが特徴的な車両です


この動画のプラレールは5色のうちの1つ、黄色(イエロージョンキル)で、常磐線が走る茨城県のひたち海浜公園と水仙をイメージしたカラーのようです。

プラレールでも5色とも過去に発売されていましたが、販売終了してから時も経っているので絶版プラレールで、現時点で他の色は私も持っていません。


E657系は、E653系フレッシュひたちや651系ひたちの置き換えで製造され、常磐線特急ひたち、ときわで現在運用されている車両です

本来のカラーは白がメインの車両ですが、フレッシュひたちのリバイバルカラーでフレッシュひたちの5色が再現されました。

この動画のプラレールは、緑(グリーンレイク)で霞ヶ浦と帆曳船をイメージしたカラーのようです

プラレールでは、現在のところ緑のみ発売されています。
こちらは2023年の10月に発売された商品なので、今現在でも入手可能です。


ひたちは上野(現在では品川)か水戸や東北の福島県のいわきを通り、宮城県の仙台までを結ぶ長距離の特急列車です

The E653 series is a vehicle with five distinctive color variations that was used on the Joban Line's long-distance limited express Fresh Hitachi from 1997 to 2012.

The Plarail in this video is yellow (yellow jonquil), and the color seems to be inspired by Hitachi Seaside Park and daffodils in Ibaraki Prefecture, where the Joban Line runs.
