今川氏真
有力大名家である今川家の嫡男として生まれ、日本統一を成し遂げた人物。
剣豪、茶人としても高名。
今川家は織田家の予想以上の抵抗に伸び悩むも、氏真が城主及び軍団長に就任した後は驚異的な速度で畿内を制圧。
その後も、嫡男かつ第１軍団長として勢力拡大に貢献。
しかし、日本統一を目前にして突如謀反を起こす。
既に当主をしのぐ領土を持つ嫡男に対して、家督を譲るどころか減封をした父義元に疑念を抱いたのが理由とされているが、定かではない。
城主は攻め滅ぼす一方で、軍団長に対しては所領を安堵する、
硬軟織り交ぜた策でもって義元側を降伏させ天下統一を成し遂げる。
その後、３００年続く今川幕府を作り上げた。
しかし、直轄地においては中央集権化に成功するも、
軍団長に所領安堵したことが後の明治維新につながることになった。

殺してはいないものの「極東の冒頓単于」などと言われる一方、
３００年間の泰平をもたらしたことは事実であり今なお歴史家の評価は分かれる。

３００年泰平ENDなので太閤立志伝Ⅴみたいに分岐はないと思います。
まぁ謀反を起こすとベストエンドにならないってのもどうかと思うし、
面白さに直接つながるわけではないので良いと思います。
其れよりも、嫡男軍団長でも譜代家臣エンドなのはちょっと。（謀反の真の理由）
