Star Fighter or Star Fighter 3000 is a 3D flight based shoot-em-up. The gameplay is mission based and involves elements of strategy and planning. The player can order wingmen to fly in formation and attack specific targets.
Star Fighter 3000 was first released for the Acorn Archimedes, in November 1994, by Tim Parry and Andrew Hutching.
The 3DO version was developed after the original Acorn version was released. The map screen is in 3D, not 2D as in the Acorn RISC OS version. Also, to upgrade the ship the player must collect a series of 3D shapes after blowing up certain objects. Another difference is that the player can blast pathways through mountain ranges with the laser.
Star Fighter 3000 was also released for the PC, Sony PlayStation and Sega Saturn by Acclaim Entertainment. These versions were ports of the 3DO version. Unlike the original and 3DO version, Tim Parry and Andrew Hutchings had no involvement.

The gameplay maintains the traditional elements of previous Mario Kart games, mostly from the two recent installments on the Wii and 3DS respectively. Karts can be customized once again, alongside the returning bikes, which handle similar to the karts now, and the newly introduced buggies. The hang-glider and underwater mechanics also return, as well as Coins, with the player being able to collect up to ten in one race as in Mario Kart 7.
The newest feature for the series is anti-gravitational segments, that not only allow for more dynamic track design, but also for racers to drive across walls and ceilings. When in anti-gravity, if a racer bumps into another racer, the kart spins rather than just bumping and both racers receive a speed boost. Courses from previous Mario Kart games will be included, and both the game's anti-gravity mechanic, as well as Mario Kart 7 's "air, land, and sea" mechanic will be incorporated.

2026/05/03配信。
主人公アルドの名前は、クロノトリガーに出てきた猫「アルファド」の名から取っていたりするのだろうか。
今作のサブタイトルが「時空を超える猫」だし。
そういえば、クロノとジャキって猫を飼っている（＝猫好き？）という共通点があるんだなと今さらに気付いたけど、意外にウマが合ったりするんだべか。
（これまでのあらすじ）
主人公アルドは、ワームホールで飛ばされた800年後の未来にて出会った少女エイミを手伝って合成人間との戦いにひとまず勝利するが、突如未来の人々と曙光都市エルジオンが姿を消す。
現れた「ファントム」に歴史の改変が行われたと告げられ、未来を甦らせたくば行けと示されたワームホールに入ると今度は古代へに降り立つ事となった。
そこではアルドの慣れ親しんだプリズマではなくエレメンタルが用いられており、付近の火山にて異変が起きているとの事で、黒い影により正気を失ったサラマンダーを救い出すのであった！

アナデンキャラが出しゃばりすぎず空気すぎず、良い塩梅のコラボシナリオをしていると思う次第。
少なくともこれより上手なシナリオを概要だけでも作れって言われても私には無理かな。
ところで、ダリの村って聞くと魔法陣グルグルの「勇者はダリになった」を思い出してしまう。
