【MikuMikuDance】自作プログラムでにとりの唄をミクさんに躍らせてみた
モーションデータはsm3728421からです。日本語はあまり上手じゃありませんので、英語で書かせて頂きます。 I've written a program that reads .pmd and .vmd files, and then animates the model according to the motion data. The motion it produces might not be exactly the same as the one produced by 樋口優's original MikuMikuDance. (You can see that the necktie sometimes gets submerged under Miku's skin.) The program can generate IK-less motion data from .vmd files. This allows you to use the motion data with tools such as ToyStudio (sm4223522) and ARToolKit (sm6969855). The author of sm6969855 actually wrote the same kind of program, but I think mine produces better leg movements. I'm planning to release the program along with its source code when it is complete. (Language/API used: C++, Python, and OpenGL.)
TAS SNES Biker Mice From Mars (USA) in 05:12.62 by Lennart W. (aka. Baxter).
2週目辺りからありえないスピードに…A high speed racing game featuring rodents from another (nearby) planet. Although the author doesn't classify the velocity potential of the motorcycle as a programming error in the game, the speed at which he rips through the courses may make you wonder. A password is used to skip to the final round at Super Hard difficulty with fully upgraded Engine and Shot parts.
TAS SNES Final Fantasy - Mystic Quest (USA) in 1:49:20.0 1/6
2/6 -> sm7237779 from TASvideo.org by Paul Acito (aka. DonamerDragon). Final Fantasy Mystic Quest is a short RPG game that is very different from the Final Fantasy games that came before and after it. This is the third TAS movie of this game, now 8 minutes faster than the previous run by the same author. We recommend reading the author's comments for information about this run. TAS SNES Mask, The (USA) in 06:39.8 by Johan Södling (aka. Randil).
from TASvideo.org Based loosely on the plot line of the movie by the same name. This game is about a man named Stanley Ippkiss, who finds a powerful mask known as The Mask. However evil has also become aware of this and kidnaps his girlfriend in order to obtain it. One of the traits The Mask seems to give Stanley is extreme speed, so naturally, aside from a couple boss fights, the game play is extremely fast throughout the movie. This is a 3 minute 30 second improvement over the previous movie by the use of a new shortcut in level 1, improved boss fights, and many other optimizations. The author left detailed comments about them.
TAS SNES Addams Family, The (USA) in 03:42.23 by Robin Reigstad (aka. Deign).
In a normal playthrough, this game is quite long. You must save four family members then progress to the final area to complete the game. However, the author uses a nice glitch to skip directly to the final area; skipping 4/5ths of the game and completing it in less than 4 minutes.

Using this game's interesting recoil and jet pack physics, Gunty flies through each of the stages at a very fast pace.

Your goal is to become the Avalanche champion. The author's aims for this game were: Complete the game as fast as possible on its highest difficulty. To entertain the viewer with the combos, instead of just making them. To attain the highest score possible without losing time. This is actually the third submission for this game that we have received.
TAS SNES Final Fight 3 (USA) in 18:18.63 by Michael Dahn (aka. Diman).
The third installment of the Final Fight series has Guy dressing up in a dashing outfit and murdering hundreds of people in less time than it takes to watch the local news. All in the name of vanquishing evil, of course. Paraphrased from the author's submission: This run uses tools - Sledgehammers, which I get from the barrels. THAT'S a real tool-assisted run! (I know it's a bad joke but I couldn't resist it :P)
TAS SNES Inspector Gadget (USA) in 14:00.25 by Kirk L. (aka. BioSpark).
Inspector Gadget is a cartoon series featuring a bumbling cyborg, his clever niece Penny and her super intelligent dog Brain. Despite his many useful abilities like helicoptering and a hand that comes out of his head, the Inspector must constantly rely upon Penny and Brain to defeat his arch-nemesis Dr. Claw week after week. However, in this game he must save Penny from several kidnappings without such aid. In another major departure from the television series, Dr. Claw's face is shown briefly. The author abuses Inpector Gadget's gadgets to do things clearly not intended by the game designers. Whether floating through stages or grappling with his head-hand, large sections are skipped and bosses dispatched expeditiously.
TAS SNES Mortal Kombat II (USA v1.0) in 22:43.68
by M.S.M. (aka. Samhain-Grim, aka. VANDAL). Like all of the Mortal Kombat games, MKII is about warriors fighting in a tournament for inspecific power and fame. Shang Tsung is chosen for his ability to transform into other characters. This movie aims to demonstrate as many quirks and fatalities of the game as possible. Examples include two Shang Tsungs with a Raiden child, a headless Reptile eating Kitana's head and a bloody clone of Jax. The AI is also humiliated. The author's comments page is a definitely recommended reading for this movie. Note: The movie contains semi-realistic violence to be expected with the Mortal Kombat series.
TAS SNES Prince of Persia 2 (USA) in 11:00.42 by JSP (aka. Nitsuja).
Selected comments from the author:Prince of Persia 2 is one of the most challenging games ever made. Maybe this is because of the terribly imprecise control, the nonsensical puzzles, and the character's amazing inability to survive falling any distance. There are no pits with spikes this time around, apparently there were enough complaints about the ones in the original Prince of Persia, but unfortunately, non-spiky pits are just as deadly as spiky ones, and the new traps are far more sinister.
TAS SNES Out to Lunch (USA v1.0) in 15:42.8 by JSP (aka. Nitsuja).
Out to lunch is a very strange game involving a chef trying to catch escaped vegetables and other food. The game is difficult due to strict time limits and a small amount of lives, which makes the run look impressive. Those unfamiliar with the game are advised to read the author's comments at the submission page to help understand the game and enjoy the movie more.
TAS SNES Demon's Crest (USA) in 36:14.45 by M Sweeney (aka. ElectroSpecter). 1/2
Demon's Crest is the third installment of the Gargoyle's Quest series. The player controls Firebrand, who is scouring the Demon Realm for elemental Crests, which preside over different elements (Fire, Earth, Air, Water, Time, and Heaven). When collected, these crests allow Firebrand to transform his shape at will and gain powerful new abilities and defenses. Demon's Crest is notorious for some very difficult bosses. In this run, the author abuses boss weaknesses to the extreme by carefully switching Gargoyle forms as necessary. In addition, heavy luck manipulation was used during several encounters to make the otherwise troublesome boss fights look easier than a play through of Barney's Hide and Seek.
TAS SNES Kirby Super Star (USA) in 41:56.17 by JSP (aka. Nitsuja). 2/3
It's a long (short) movie of this ridiculous game. Enjoy. The author controls both players when applicable rather than letting the CPU operate the helper. For those interested, the obsoleted movie uses only one controller. This accounts for the large time difference between the two movies.
TAS SNES Lagoon (USA) in 1:08:32.68 by Michael Reilly (aka. OmnipotentEntity). 1/2
Lagoon is a low-tempo adventure game much like Zelda. It is up to Nasir, Hero of Light, to save Lakeland from Zerah. Zerah is attempting to release the Evil Sprit and pollute all the water. This game is difficult due to the length of Nasir's sword. We recommend reading the author's comments.

TAS SNES Vegas Stakes (USA) in 03:30.93 by Ryan Foley (aka. hero of the day).
If real life had savestates, you could be a millionaire. With handy luck-manipulation, the author multiplies starting player money ($1000) by a hundred in a mere two betting rounds of craps in the limit casino. Then he hits the no limit casino; mutiplying by a hundred again with two betting rounds of craps. The player ends the game with 10 million dollars. Most of the scenes in this game do not relate to gameplay in any way.
TAS SNES Simpsons, The: Bart's Nightmare (USA) in 14:09.3
by M.S.M. (aka. Samhain-Grim, aka. VANDAL). Another game in the Simpsons series. This one takes a bizarre trip through Bart's imagination; fighting amoeba, smashing psychotic appliances, and transforming into Bartzilla. These bizarre situations are handled with tool-assisted precision, and finished 73 seconds faster than the author's previous attempt.
TAS SNES U.N. Squadron (USA) in 18:33.27 by Ryan E (aka. georgexi).
U.N. Squadron (1989) is a nice looking horizontal shoot-em-up loosely based on manga & anime series named Area 88 (which is also the name this game was released with in Japan), about a brave young pilot Shin Kazama and his experiences at a mercenary airforce base. Here you see Shin mercilessly slaughtering everything in his sight, and stuffing the bosses full with the heaviest artillery available — of course, not forgetting the usual suicidal dancing around the bullets in the meantime. Surprisingly, the author started working on this video over 2.5 years before the submission, which makes it one of TASvideos's longest projects to date.
