高山寺山門.R-1109.明治5年（1872）.明治14年（1881）に焼失した高山寺の仁王門。現在は高山寺の表参道に礎石のみが痕跡をとどめる。鎌倉時代に記された『高山寺縁起』に拠れば、ここには仏師湛慶作の仁王像が安置されていた。この写真でも仁王の姿がかろうじて確認される
