スーパーマリオ64の「Aボタンチャレンジ」には深い歴史があります。もともとは様々なTAS制作者たちが科学的な精密さでゲームを極限まで追い込み、その後、pannenkoek2012という伝説のプレイヤーが、どれだけ少ないAボタンでゲームをクリアできるかを示して人気を博しました。
しかし、この挑戦はTASだけに限られません。実際にリアルタイムで、ライブのスピードランとして挑戦することも可能です。Bubziaが今回挑戦するのは「70枚、Aボタン50回以内」のカテゴリです。なぜ50回かというと、これはちょうど良いバランスだからです。Aボタンチャレンジの驚異的なグリッチを見せつつ、リアルタイムのRTAのように速さも保てる回数だからです。
この挑戦を成功させるため、Bubziaは最小限のAボタンで120枚すべてをクリアできるように練習し、そこからラン全体のルートを一から作成しました。どのスターを含めるか、どの戦略をリアルタイムで最も安定して使えるかを考え抜いたのです。

新技「Crackslide」の発見後、目隠し1枚は大きな盛り上がりを見せました。Bubziaは長年の目標であった10分切りを目指して本格的に挑戦を開始しましたが、その道のりは非常に厳しく、フラストレーションの溜まる過酷なものとなりました。
そして2025年12月18日、ついにBubziaは大きなミスのない完璧なランを成功させ、最終タイム9分40秒を記録しました。唯一の大きなタイムロスはクッパ3での運の悪さで、クッパが3回ジャンプしてしまい、合計18秒を失いました。
この記録は、Bubziaが他のカテゴリーへ移行するため、目隠し1枚では長い間更新されない、事実上最後の世界記録になる可能性があります。

ゼルダの伝説 ムジュラの仮面」の目隠しスピードランに挑戦！カテゴリは「Any% No First Cycle」で、基本的に序盤のとてつもなく長いカットシーンを除いたゲーム全体です。デク・リンクとして時計町を走り回る最初のサイクルも、このカテゴリーではスキップされる。要するに、これがアクション満載のゲームプレイのすべてなのだ！

Bubziaは練習をより効率的に、特により楽しくするためにこのような決断を下した。25分間カットシーンとオートスクロールが続いた後、最初の部屋でミスをしたからといってランをリセットするのは、まったくもって残酷で楽しくないからだ。

This is a blindfolded speedrun of the cult classic "Cookie Clicker"! The goal of this speedrun is to obtain a total of 1 million cookies with only the left mouse button! I perform this without any outside help and completely without vision! The final time is 28 minutes and 54 seconds. This is also the world's first completion of this category to the community's knowledge.

For this speedrun, I used quite the crazy setup as can be seen in the beginning. I use a drawing tablet in full area in combination with some scotch tape to normalize positions in the 2D mouse space on screen. This allows me to consistently buy upgrades and buildings as well as clicking the cookie.

This is a blindfolded speedrun of Super Smash Bros Melee with the Adventure Mode category and the world record as of 10th August 2022.
The final IGT is 04:32.870, which beats the previous world record by 9 seconds.

Finally, I am happy with the time I got in this category and am able to move on. I wanted one more PB without major mistakes because I knew that many splits could still save time with perfect RNG. This run is still improvable, but I am more than done grinding this for hours and hours.

Bubziaがまたやりました… 70枚RTAの練習中に、突如として1～2回だけ目隠し1枚RTAを試してみたところ、なんとこの驚異的なスピードランが生まれました。この記録は2024年12月25日現在の1枚カテゴリーの新しい世界記録であり、最終タイムは12分12秒でした！さらに、これはどのカテゴリーでも史上最速の目隠しクリアとなります！
このラン自体はかなりカオスでした。様々な場所でランダムなタイムロスが発生し、Bowser 1でのミスによる死亡、BLJでのトラブル、Bowser投げの失敗などがありました。それでも、SBLJの一発成功や、ここ1年間でプレイヤーとして成長したBubziaの実力が活きて、1分以上の自己記録更新を達成することができました！
1枚RTAの最終目標タイムは、おそらく11分切りになるでしょう。あと2つの分単位の壁を突破する必要がありますが、現在のBubziaの実力であればそれも可能です。ただし、良いSBLJを引き当てるのは少し苦労するかもしれませんね :D

目隠しスーパーマリオ64のRTAに新たな1分の壁が破られました！世界で初めて、Bubziaが16枚スターのカテゴリーを21分未満でクリアし、最終タイムは20分30秒となりました！このスピードランは8月28日に行われ、前回の目隠しWRを43秒更新しました！
このランは、サブ20分16枚スターのグラインド99日目に行われ、数ヶ月にわたるルートの試行錯誤の末、ついに完成したと感じています。BubziaがLBLJルートを使うか、ノーLBLJルートを使うか、そして他の多くの戦略についても多くの議論がありましたが、それらは数日で進化していきました。
ディレディレダイレクでの不幸なミスがなければ、19分中盤のタイムが出ていたので、近いうちに達成されることは間違いありません！Bubziaはグラインドを続け、目隠し16枚スターのスーパーマリオ64で20分を切るという目標が今まで以上に近づいています！

Bubziaは不可能を成し遂げ、目隠し0スターのスピードランの世界記録を再び更新しました。このカテゴリーは不可能とされていましたが、すでに2回の完走が達成されています。世界記録は8月5日に公式タイム19分7秒で設定され、2分以上の改善を達成しました！
個人的なコメント： このランはその日の最初の本格的な1スターの試みで、目隠し0スターのランになる予定は全くありませんでした（笑）。1スターの試みが失敗した場合に備えて、走る数分前にセットアップを思い出しただけです...そして、すぐにDDDスキップを成功させました。信じられないことです。私のスピードランニングキャリアで最も大きなフルーク（幸運）かもしれません！
また、このラン自体はもちろんそれほど素晴らしいものではありませんでしたが、0スターで初めて20分を切ることができましたし、しばらくの間この記録は破られないでしょう！

このランにはRNGが多く含まれており、Whomp's Fortressが最高のステージとなります。ルールは以下の通り： 
目隠しルービックスキューブに似ているが、私は学習、ルーティング、暗記を含めて走らせる。タイマーをスタートさせ、ランダムな種を入力し、10個の星をルートアウトする。これがクッパ3への最後の星の扉を開けるための条件だ。ルーティングが終わったら、ファイルを削除し、目隠しをしてすべてを回収し、最後にゲームを倒す。

2024年初頭、ブブジアは目隠し16スター部門で世界初の20分切りタイムを達成することを目標に、スーパーマリオ64最後のスピードランに挑んだ。

目隠し20分切りを達成するためには、完璧な実行力だけでなく、完璧な戦略も必要だ。そのために、LBLJルートというまったく新しいスピードランルートが開発された。従来のルートとの違いについては、ここで説明しよう！

ブブジアがこのプロジェクトを始めてから30～40日が経過したので、このビデオではルートの主な変更点についても話し、最新のタイムセーブについても詳しく説明している！

面白いことに、このビデオを編集しているときから、さらに多くのタイムセーブが見つかっている。

このルートはほぼ1年近くの間開発されてきましたが、Bubziaは最近、新しい最適化を見つけて実装しました。このルートは以前のものよりもはるかに難しいですが、完璧にいけば約40秒のタイムを節約できるはずです。新しいスターにはSSL KleptoとLLL Bullyが含まれます。全体的に、Bubziaはルート内のほとんどのスターを微小なタイムセーブのために最適化していますが、リスクと難易度は格段に高くなっています。
