1992年にメトロから稼働された「スカイアラート」の全曲集です。
『トラック狂走曲』や『だるま道場』『アイドルマスター』『仮面ライダーバトル ガンバライド』等で知られるメトロが制作した最初で最後のシューティングゲーム。ストーリーは不明。
特徴
8方向レバー＋2ボタンのショット＋ボム式のオーソドックスなシステム。
ゲーム開始時に自機のタイプを2タイプから選択可能。それぞれ火力や攻撃範囲に長所短所がある。
2人同時プレー可、全8面永久ループ。
身も蓋もない言い方をすれば、『雷電』の亜流作とも言うべき作品。特徴的な点があると言えば、初期ボム数が4個である事とラスボスが偶数周の1面に登場することくらいだろうか。
本作はスクロール機能を持たない基板で制作されており、スクロールは擬似で表現している。地上敵が存在しないのもそのため。
自機の性能
自機の武装はA＆B2つのタイプに各2パターンずつあり、ボム使用後＆ミス後の復活時に出現するチェンジアイテムで切り替えることが可能。なお、ミス後は必ずパターン1の状態で復活する。
タイプA
パターン1：前方集中型のレーザー＋拡散型の爆弾。爆弾自体には攻撃判定が無く射程も短いが、爆風に攻撃＆弾消し効果が存在する。
パターン2：拡散型のリングレーザー＋ホーミングミサイル。リングレーザーは「少し扇状に拡散 → 直進」という軌道をとる。
タイプB
パターン1：扇状に拡散するバルカン＋直進型のミサイル。バルカンの拡散範囲はかなり広い。
パターン2：前方集中型のバルカン＋拡散型のミサイル。ミサイルは「少し直進 → 扇状に拡散」という軌道をとる。
アイテム
P：パワーアップ。自機の攻撃力がアップする。最大4段階。
S：スピードアップ。自機の移動速度がアップする。
B：ボム。ボムが1個追加される。
CHANGE：武器チェンジ。武装パターンが切り替わる。
数字：10、30、50の3種類あり、それぞれ書かれている数字×100ポイントのボーナス点になる。
小型機：自機の左右に小型機が付き、自機のショットと連動して一緒に攻撃してくれる。ミスかステージクリアでなくなる。なお、小型機自体に敵や敵弾への接触判定はない。
本作を一言で言えば、｢それ以上でもそれ以下でもない雷電の亜流作」だが、シューティングが高難易度化しつつあった90年代の作品でありながら、初心者でも遊びやすい難易度になっている。
しかし人を惹きつけるような強烈な個性・特徴が無く、瞬く間にゲームセンターから姿を消して行くことになってしまった。
出荷数が非常に少ない。
