Fun with background harmonies! And boy isn't this song harmony -heavy-! I had so much fun with it though, can you tell? It's about time that I recorded a Gumi song! Not to mention, I'm very happy with the overall quality of this one.

*Cultural Note:
The song refers to a 'rabbit on the moon' who is making mochi (rice cakes). Though for us, we would know this little guy as 'The Man on the Moon'.

Interesting how other countries see things differently! Hence all the little dancing rabbits and bunny billboards all over the place.

This song is so awesome! In honesty, it's been one of my favorites ever since I first heard it. I think the reason that I like it so much, is the fact that it allows me to sing using both low and higher vocal registers. I don't get to do that often and there aren't many songs that allow for that kind of thing.
There are a couple of PVs around for this song too, but I chose this one because it's much more meaningful.

It was shown to me by my friend Grant at work one day, so I thank him for that. Otherwise, I would have never been introduced to it. I knew that I had to do a cover of it the moment I heard/read the translation for it.

I haven't sung anything quiet and ballad-like lately, though I have a few that need to get done (Linaria, etc...). I also understand this isn't on my Winter Dublist, but I have to sing things for myself once in awhile, too!

I love the original, it's true. But this version is much more in my element.

Jazz is what I'm vocally trained in and songs like this give me a chance to stretch those vocal chords far and wide. Much more comfortable to sing R&B. High notes anyone?

It's such a cute, feel good song! I don't think there's any way you can listen to this and feel bad about your day. The PV is adorable, too.

There isn't much to say about this one other than the fact that I wish they had a Gumi version of this. This song was very easy. The melody is repetitive and so are the lyrics, generally- which made this really fun. Almost like a child's playground song or some such.
