孫正義といえばソフトバンクのCEOであり、日本国内でアップルのiphoenを売りさばき巨利を得ました。
ihoneを作っているのは、ホンハイのフォックスコンです。 ホンハイも大儲けしたためCEOのテリー・ゴウとも大変仲がいいです。
この動画はウィスコンシン州に、フォックスコンの工場を設立する記念祝いのものです。

トランプが大統領に当選したら、すぐに孫さんは米国に５兆円の投資と５万人の雇用を生み出すことを約束しました。
多くの人がこれを信じられなかったと思います。
しかし、これが現実のものとなりつつあります。

ただこのフォックスコンの工場をアメリカに建設する計画は、テリーゴウの考えの段階であって、具体的な計画ではなかったのですが、孫さんがトランプと約束したために、実行することになったようです。テリー・ゴウは、孫さんが「勝手に」トランプと、工場を建設する約束したのを、後でニュースで知った大変驚いたそうです。

こういうところが「ペテン師」「法螺吹き」と呼ばれる孫さんらしいといえばらしいですが・・・

さて孫さんの演説ですが、とても内容がわかりやく凝縮されていました。
特に「 This the beginning of a new ecosystem for high-tech manufacturing back in the US」が最高にかっこよくて感動しました！
