This is a remake of the song "Black Betty" that Scarlett Gypsy’s guitar player Steve brought to the band. This is when the band “made it their own Scarlett Gypsy version”. Some sources claim the song is derived from an 18th-century marching cadence about a flint-lock musket with a black painted stock; the "bam-ba-lam". Other sources give the meaning of "Black Betty" (from at least 1827) as a liquor bottle that may ultimately owe its origin to a famous pretty black barmaid. This is not your old Ram Jam version either. 夏にウトウト(ザ・ヴォーカロイズ)(lead vocal 神威がくぽ)
2022/6/18、私がPをしています男性ボカロGS「ザ・ヴォーカロイズ」の新曲、
「夏にウトウト」をニコニコ動画に公開致しました。（マイリストにも入れてあります！）
この曲は、今年4/23～4/26、ニコニコ動画にて開催「ボカコレ2022春」での参加曲「DOLPHIN VACATION」の片面ですが、こちらも、まもなく来る夏本番の時期にマッチした、ミディアム・ポップ・チューンです。
リード・ヴォーカルを担当するのは、長身の色男「がっくん」こと、神威がくぽ くんです。
本来、盛夏生まれ（7/31）の彼、昨年度リリース「真夏が欲しいんだ」に引き続き、夏本番のムードいっぱいの楽曲をお願いしました。
私の楽曲では、自宅からも行きやすい湘南の海をメインの舞台としていますが、この曲は、さらに南のリゾート地をイメージして作りました。
アンニュイな南の海辺のアフタヌーン、その中で過ごす、フルーティーさと、アダルトさとがとけあった、この曲のサブコピーである「♪この曲、チョットまったリゾート」なリゾート・ラブソングです。
麗しい彼の持ち味である、色っぽいヴォーカルを耳元で歌われながら過ごすひと時を、ご堪能ください。
残り3人のメンバーも、コーラスとドゥワップで、甘いリゾートムードを演出します。
演奏では、レンくんとがっくんによる、普段のバリバリの8ビートから、シャッフルを基調としたおしゃれ路線のビートとベースライン、
KAITO兄さんの、きらめくさざ波を想わせる12弦エレキサウンド、
氷山キヨテル先生の南のリゾートムード醸し出すオルガンの調べが特徴です。
制約の時から、待望の解放の時へと移らんとしている2022年夏、
梅雨明けを飛び越して、彼らと一緒に南のビーチ・リゾートへ、心の羽の伸ばしましょう！
