Seemingly the only footage of this game (from Hong Kong TV) before it was cancelled and later became Capcom vs SNK. This game had a different cast of characters, different backgrounds and no Grooves to select from.
It looks like a real cut and paste job of existing assets that tested poorly and was cancelled.
iirc SNK was mainly responsible for this but Capcom stepped in and made the majority of the released CvS but this is from memory and finding any info at all on this prototype seems virtually impossible these days as any search including the terms SNK vs Capcom will either bring up CvS / CvS2 content or the Neo Geo Pocket SvC game.

Adverbs of frequency are words like: always, often, sometimes, rarely, never. They answer the question 'how often...?'
How often do you go to the gym?
I always go to the gym.
I often go to the gym.
I sometimes go to the gym.
I rarely go to the gym.
I never go to the gym.
Where do they go in a sentence?
Adverbs of frequency generally occupy three positions in a sentence - all in relation to the verb.
1. Before the main verb
In the majority of cases, the adverb of frequency goes before the main verb.
Helen always starts work at seven.
She usually went to school by bus.
2. After the verb when the main verb is 'be'
If the main verb is a form of 'be' (am, are, is, was, were), the adverb of frequency comes after.
Helen isn't always happy with this.
They are never late for anything!
3. Between the auxiliary verb and the main verb
If the sentence has two verbs - an auxiliary verb and a main verb - the adverb of frequency goes between them.
Helen has always hated early starts.
She doesn't often go to school by bus.

◆ゲームの概要
１６枚のカードを交互に並べて、最終的に自分の方向を向くカードが多いプレイヤーの勝ち。
プレイヤーは交互に、場にカードを１枚は【表向き】に、１枚は【裏向き】に、並べます。
カードは必ず、場にあるカードの前後左右斜めの【周囲】に並べなければならない。
16枚全て並べ終わると、今度は交互に裏向きのカードを１枚ずつ表向けていきます。
基本ルールはたったこれだけです。
なのに、
カードの能力が複雑に絡まり合い、ゲーム終盤には様々な謀略や作戦が展開され、時には大きな連鎖を生み、信じられない大逆転が起こったりします。
５分程で終わるので、空いた時間に気軽に遊べます。
そして、ゲームが終わると
「先にあのカードをめくれば良かった」
「完璧に計画通りに勝って気持ちいい」
「あいつの裏切りさえなければ」
「あと一歩で凄い作戦が成功したのに」
みたいな感想戦が行われて
「よし、もう１回やろう」ってなります。
そんな何度も遊びたくなるオリジナルカードゲームです。
