TL; DR: this is a synth-pop track about being true to yourself.

Before writing, for the last couple of days of January, I'd been listening to Pete Shelley's "Homosapien"¹, on repeat, like a deranged teenager. The idea was to overdose on a song I liked, so that the song's structure or ambience or intent would then seep -- osmosis style -- into my next creation. I'm not sure it has but I like the process.

Anyway, this track is about being true to yourself; being comfortable with your dubious decisions.

Technically, the drum sounds are from Groove Agent with some added Backbone sourced hi-hats. The various brass instruments are from NN-XT samples. Other synths from Thor and filtered, sampled sawtooth waves (NN19), stock Cubase Retrologue, Halion, Padshop in there too. Vocals are from the Vocaloid6 set -- hello, Allen and Sandra; their formant glitchiness tempered by EQ & saturation.

I don't usually bother posting a lone track on this page unless it was commissioned for a label or project of some sort, but in this case I'm making an exception. This track is up here in part because it was largely overlooked the first time I posted it and in part just because I fancied having a crack at imitating the style of the Blue Note cover art of Reid Miles. (I'm no designer but like to play around with these things). Anyhow, the track is a remix of Pharrell's 2003 hit 'Frontin' using passages from British Jazz pianist / singer Jamie Cullum's cover version of the same song. I loved the instrumentation on Jamie's version but not particularly his voice so I used samples from his cover and a Neptunes-esque drum track that I put together to produce a remix with Pharrell's original vocal. Works on the dancefloor and has, arguably, a slightly more tasteful feel than the original.

　最近視聴数が低値安定でちょっと凹んで(- -;)いる人工無能・改こと「A.I._R（えあー）」と申します。最近はダンス動画（基本毎土曜19時投稿）メインですが【7days to die】というゲームプレイ動画（先日久々に作成）なども投稿しています。

お世話になっているイラストレーター様（ルナ・ルーン様）支援動画第33弾です。

稲葉曇さんのフロートプレイを耳コピしました。

It's a complete French adaption of Love Is War! You can't even know how happy I am right now. The voice is one octave higher than on Alice. Just because if I put it down, it would have sounds so baaaad on lower notes. So yep. Oh by the way, when I recorded that Voicebank, I've record special samples, which I used for the scream. And I've also put some breath samples so it sounds better. I've used utalis. I'm a cheater. But it sounds so good so, it's okay I guess ? :p I've used TBK's voice for utalising (Dafuq is this verb?). And she's also the one who wrote the French lyrics.And I'd like to thanks a lot Myo, Sabine, Lachesis and Chocola for those 4 wonderful art! They are awesome ! Thanks a lot for your attention(Oh, and yep, I've made the little music and HANASU part at the end :p)
