ところで、今回のお話を聞いて『あれ？interrobangの“interro”って、ラテン語のinterrogatioじゃなくて、interrogationとかinterrogativeの方じゃないの？』って思った方もいるかもしれません。でもいろいろ調べてみると、最初に紹介された『Type Talks』の記事では“interrogatio”が由来として説明されていたそうなんです(1)。私自身、当時の誌面をまだ直接読めてはいないけど、信憑性はわりと高そうだなって思いました。ことばのルーツを知るのって、なんだか楽しいですね！(⁎˃ᴗ˂⁎)
