【プログラムノート】 今回、作成したコンセプトはズバリ「追跡する、される」です。しかしストーリーなどはありません。ホルン、トロンボーン、パーカッションの各楽器たちがそれぞれのラインを追跡したり、逆にラインを追跡されたり、時には並走したりと楽器間同士の群像劇が繰り広げられます。楽曲は大きくA-B-Aの構成となりAは速いテンポでハイハットを機械的に刻むリズムマシーンの様な雰囲気を、Bはパーカッションがビブラフォンに持ち替え、余韻の響きを残している中にトロンボーンがビブラートを演奏してうねりを重ね、増幅させる。和声的な聴かせ方ではないが、幻想的な雰囲気を醸し出せるのではないかと思います。キャラクターが、ガラっと変わるアグレッシブな作品となりましたので出来る限り「攻めた」演奏をして頂ければこの作品のキャラクターの味が出るのではないかなと思います。
