As for the mechanics of the song itself, I used Autotune on my voice to create a more 'electronic' feel. The original song has a very heavy computerized filter, which makes sense given the lyrics and what the song is about.
However, it's applied very lightly as I don't want it overpowering my actual voice. No amount of filtering can account for trained skill, in my book!
