The combined force trained on high-altitude high opening (HAHO) and high-altitude low opening (HALO) freefall operations, which ended with a HAHO infiltration followed by a movement to an objective.
The Green Berets and JSOG operators then systemically cleared their objectives using their close-quarters battle training. Together, the teams of U.S. and Japanese operators improved the integration of tactics and approaches to problem solving in unconventional warfare.
