・カラフルな2Dで描かれた惑星アヴァリスの世界を走り回って、戦って、冒険しよう！
フィールドを縦横無尽に駆け巡る爽快2Dアクションゲームが登場！
アクションや操作性の異なるライラック、キャロル、ミラの3人を操作し
行く手を塞ぐ敵を蹴散らしながら、様々なギミックが仕掛けられたフィールドを駆け抜けろ！
ステージの最後に待ち受ける巨大なボスキャラクターたちを撃破し
全宇宙の支配を目論むロード・ブレヴォンの魔の手から惑星の平和を守れ！

・「せ〜が〜♪」ではないけれど、メガドライブと音速のハリネズミを
おそらくとてもリスペクトしているであろうハイスピードアクション！
・様々な点から2Dスタイルのいわゆる「クラシック・ソニック」の要素は感じられる
ただ本作のスタイルとして「キックで攻撃ができる」「体力がライフ制」
「待機状態の一部敵には触れてもノーダメージ」などがあり、
結果としてはソニックやメガドライブに強く影響を受けた新作インディーゲームといったところ
・今回はいつ配信されたかまったく覚えていない体験版をプレイ
操作キャラは3人だが体験版では「ライラック」「キャロル」が使用可能
・「ライラック」はスピンジャンプや高速アタックなど機動力が特徴
ステージの高所なども探りやすいので最初でも扱いやすい
・「キャロル」は必殺技として連続蹴りを使用可能。ボス格の敵に決められると良いカンジ
またステージ内の【跳】という文字のギミックを使用可能
・「ミラ」はブロックの生成やレーザー攻撃、空中浮遊が可能らしい
※「バイク」について
バイクを使用するキャラは「キャロル」です。プレイ中は勘違いしていたので訂正いたします

The planet Avalice is under attack by alien forces led by Lord Brevon. He has killed the King of Shuigang, enslaved the prince, and is now after the powerful Kingdom Stone, an artifact that can help him ensure control of the galaxy. Now Lilac the dragon, Carol the wildcat, and Milla the hound are on a quest to defeat the alien invaders and protect the Kingdom Stone.
Freedom Planet is a 2D platformer whose gameplay is based on several Sega Genesis-era games. The player may choose which heroine to use, and each has her own abilities and exclusive stages. Lilac can run at high speeds and defeat enemies with her melee attacks. Carol uses her martial arts skills, and uses both her wall-jumping abilities and motorcycle to get from place to place. Milla can create shields with her psychic powers, throw items, and float to distant platforms.
The game features a story-based Adventure mode, a purely gameplay-based Classic mode, and a Time Attack mode.
