イタリアの歌手から一枚紹介。ソウルフルでスリルなテイストのイタロ/シンセポップ・トラック。シンセサイザーよりボーカルがやや控え気味な気がするが、それは狙ってのものだろう。奇妙で不思議なシンセアレンジを築いていると思う。「哀愁」よりも「メルヘン」といった単語が似合うか。 B面のインストゥルメンタルはさらに光沢感が増している。洋楽、イタロディスコ名盤。マニア盤で申し訳ない。

Discomagicレーベルの中には聞くに堪えられないようなシングルも含まれているが、このシングルは絶対に死ぬまで持つべき一枚だと思う。美しきメロディーに重すぎないドラムサウンドが程良く絡んでいる。女性ボーカルが恐ろしくかすれたような感じなのが気になるが、それでいいのだ！！貴重盤につき高音質にしたが、ジャケットの画質が悪いのはご了承。涙腺崩壊のレア・イタロディスコを心ゆくまで堪能してほしいと思う。

日本盤LPレコード。シンセサイザーのイントロに導かれて、「歩き回っている」とマイクの声が静かに響く。「絆もこわれてしまった。恋を失った後は、ただ歩き回るだけ。そろそろ、この傷は快楽で癒すときなんだろうか・・・」　何もできなくて、ただうろうろ歩きまわる様が目に浮かんでくる。その中に独特の浮遊感や温もりがある音を出している。公式にCD化されていないのが非常に惜しい。

80年代から活躍しているイタリアのファミリーバンド、NOVECENTOの1stから。ヴォーカルのDora NicolosiはValerie Doreのプロジェクトで活躍してる。現在はイタロディスコから方向転換し完全なアダルトジャズ・サウンドを展開中。もはや格が違う。カセット音源のため音質がスカスカなのは仕様。1984年当時イタリアのWEAレーベルから発売されていたが、現在は廃盤のため自らのスタジオNicolosi ProductionsよりCDで再発されている。

真夜中の学校で演奏しているような、怪談的で浮遊感のあるシンセサウンドが特徴。アルバムタイトルの「BYT&E」は単語の「バイト(byte) 」や試行錯誤（by trial and error）の頭文字から取られていると思われる。最近Kotoというプロジェクトが再始動したらしいが、俺と考えている音のイメージが全く異なったため手に取ることを断念した。懐古厨にはなりたくないのだが、当面は過去の名曲を見に来るのがよさそう。

1988年にオランダのHotsoundレーベルから発売。89年にドイツのZYXレーベルを通して発売された。

"The instrumental here is the one for me. Nice flowing heavy synth italo disco track in 3 sections, first it starts with an odd but nice dark sounding shuffled-style beat and synth, then drops into a harmonic typical early 80's italo catchy chord, the chorus contains a nice appegiator pips similar to The Source "You Got the Love", then at the end comes this amazing catchy and emotive female vocal.
