Hichordのv1.7アップデートが来ました
説明書のアップデートがまだ来ていなかったので、機能をざっと確認してみました
あと個人的に待望していたルーパーとMIDI関係のアップデートが来たので、
volca fm2も引っ張り出して遊んでみます

シーケンサー含め直感的に使いやすく、ループモードが楽しいです。
ユーザーシンセをダウンロードしてモノシンセのように扱うこともでき、幅広さを感じます。

I opened a drumlogue I bought when it was cheap.
It is intuitive and easy to use, including the sequencer, and the loop mode is fun.
You can also download user synths and treat it like a monosynth, which gives it a wide range.

I just unpacked the TX-6 hyperspec compact mixer from Teenage Engineering that was released 2 years ago.
I finally opened the package to take advantage of the fact that it is simply compact and can be used as an audio interface, and I want to use it with my iPad in the future for easy video recording.
It is a high spec mixer with 6 stereo channels, 3-band EQ, comp, etc., and insert send e-effects, but somehow it is also a strange mixer with tuner, synth, and DJ modes.

発売当初に購入したんですが、引っ越しやら開梱後のデモ曲作成への苦戦やらSH-4dの撮影やらで気づいたら1年近く経ってました。
今回は機能をざーっと見ていくというよりは、デモ曲作りを通してワークフローを試してみています。
音作りの幅が広く、面白いGUIで楽しみながら曲が作れます。
今回はプリセットから作っていますが、他のプレイヤーのようにサンプリングを駆使して作曲すればより面白いものができそうだなと思います。

novationJP公式Xアカウントがcircuit rhythmとLaunchControlXLをコンボした動画をアップロードしていたんですが、
circuitはMIDIホストになれない仕様のため、PCを経由するかMIDIボックスが必要でした。
PCレスでやりたければMIDIボックスを買えばいい話なんですが、もしかしたらUSBMIDIでないMIDIコンがあるんじゃないか？
と思いめちゃくちゃ調査したところ、今回購入したEvolution UC-33が見つかりました。
2000年ごろの機材なので相当調達性が悪いものの、MIDI IN/OUTを備えて8chで1chあたりノブが3つあるような製品は、
これと同年代に発売されたbehringerの機材くらいしかないみたいです。
そこそこ小さい上、単独でMIDI設定がしやすいUIがついてるのもGOOD。
たまたま安価に購入できたため、これを使ってcircuit rhythmをコントロールしてトラックを作ってみました。

今回使ってませんが、ボタンにもCCを割り当てることができるため、見た目より操作子が多いです。
ただまあ……中古で買って動く保証もないので、MIDIボックスを買うのをオススメします。
かなり値が張りますが、Faderfoxのコントローラーやroland TR-8Sとかでもいいと思います。
フェーダーにこだわらなければshik.tech N32Bやnakedboards MC-24もリーズナブルです。
