Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic practiced building a temporary bridge using four AM-70 EX bridge laying vehicles based on a Tatra Force 8x8 chassis.A single bridge section spans up to 12.5 meters, and by connecting eight sections, a bridge up to 106 meters long can be created. The structure with a width of 3.5 meters allows for the safe passage of wheeled vehicles weighing up to 73 tons or tracked vehicles weighing up to 63.5 tons. HZS purchased four AM-70 EX bridge vehicles based on experience from the 2024 floods, when the Excalibur Army (@excaliburarmycz) provided them with an AM-70 EX to bridge the river at the site of the destroyed bridge, and when this vehicle proved very effective. https://x.com/praisethesteph/status/2076993610117980210
