Kinokuniya New YorkWednesday, February 25 New York Kinokuniya Bookstore was honored to host Anne Ishii along with celebrity designer, Chip Kidd as they talked about "Massive", their anthology of erotic gay manga works by artists in Japan including Gengoroh Tagame, Takashi Matsu, Fumi Miyabi, Inu Yoshi, Gai Mizuki and comic essayist Kumada Poohsuke. The book is also important for the timeline included which gives a clear delineation of the history of the development of gay manga in Japan. In this clip, Anne Ishii and Chip Kidd discuss how they got into the project, how it developed and the unique characteristics of their audience.
