年をとるのも悪くない―。20年前にデビューし、40代を迎えた、あるいは迎えようとするミュージシャンたちのドキュメント映画。
80年代、にわかに日本で起こったバンドブーム。 若者たちは手に手に楽器をとり、音楽活動を始めた。 インディーズレーベルの隆盛、「イカ天」を始めとしたアマチュアバンドの登竜門番組…。 星の数ほどのバンドが音楽業界にデビューし、 ロックが鳴り止む日など来るはずがないと思えた…のは今は昔。 21世紀を迎え、かつての若者たちも今は40代。 社会の変化、体力の衰えを感じながらも、 結婚、離婚、育児、親の介護と生活のなかには問題は山積み。 社会は格差が広がり、地球は温暖化し、世界では終わることのない紛争…そんな中、彼らはどうやって音楽と人生を両立させているのか？
「3人で曲を作ってください。」その楽曲作りはそれぞれの人生そのものだった…本作品では、浜崎貴司（43）、大沢伸一（41）、桜井秀俊（40）と今からおよそ20年前にデビューし、40代を迎えたミュージシャンたちを招集。“3人でテーマソングを作る“という無理難題を押し付け、その模様を取材した。“40代”ということだけで寄せ集められた、同じ音楽業界にいながらも活躍するフィールドの違う3人による音楽創りの中で表れたのはそれぞれの音楽に対する想いであり、家族への愛であり、生き方であった。そして彼らは渾身の１作「LOST CONTROL」を創り上げ、2008年9月7日C.C.Lemonホールにて一夜限りのスペシャルユニットを結成する―。
その他にも30代代表としてスネオヘアー（37）をナビゲーターに迎え、リリー・フランキー（44）、箭内道彦（44）、角田光代（41）、小川直也（40）、新田恵利（40）、…といった40代を代表する著名人たちにもインタビューを敢行。次々と遭遇する人生の難問に、時に笑い、時に怒り、時に泣き、そして歌う彼らの実像に迫る。

このチャンネルにお越しくださり、ありがとうございます。
私、直家GO®は、２０１９年１０月からYouTubeにて活動をしております。
ご存じのとおり昨今は言論弾圧が厳しくなり、ユーチューバーにとっては
YouTubeからの警告と同義である「広告はがし」を何度もされてきました。
時には「投稿禁止」とされてしまったこともあります。
2023年年末には、言論弾圧がより厳しくなったことを受け、
YouTube「直家GO」チャンネルを保護するために、
これまで投稿した動画やライブ配信動画を３動画のみ残して、
他はすべて削除せざるを得ませんでした。
私が運営する他のYouTubeチャンネルにおいても、多くの動画を削除しました。
しかしながら、削除した動画を見返してみると、
このままお蔵入りさせるには、あまりに惜しい動画がたくさんありました。
例えば平岡直家チャンネルにおいては
2018年にはパンデミックを予想した放送をしておりました。
また、安倍晋三元首相の暗殺事件の前の参議院選挙については、
私が運営する複数のYouTubeチャンネルにおいて、１か月以上前から
「今回の選挙は何かが起こる！ 選挙前４８時間を切ったら要注意！」
と言い続けておりました。
また直家GO®の個人的なことにはなりますが、
3.11の地震の前に、何かが計画されているのを感じて備蓄をしておりました。
そのため3.11が起きた時には、既に１年分以上の備蓄を用意してありましたので、
何かが無くて困る、ということはありませんでした。
こういった経緯を踏まえ、YouTube「直家GO」チャンネルにて放送した動画を
こちらにて公開することにしました。
動画の端々に将来起こりうることを予測した内容がちりばめられています。
その未来予測は大きく分けると、下記の２つになります。
・シナリオが変わったので、現在は気にしなくても良い未来予測
・単純にまだ起こっていない未来予測
果たして、この動画はどちらなのか？
そういう視点で見ていただきますと、より有用と存じます。
各動画の動画タイトルの冒頭に、YouTubeで放送した日付が組み込まれておりますので、
ご参考になさってください。
