Q.U.B.E., short for Quick Understanding of Block Extrusion, is a puzzle game played from a first-person perspective. The player controls a silent and unknown protagonist in a sterile environment reminiscent of Portal's testing chambers. The goal is merely to proceed through the different rooms. The character can be moved around, look freely in any direction, and jump. The main puzzle elements consist of manipulating differently coloured cubes in the environment, combining speed, reflexes, physics, timing and spacial thinking.

【講演概要】ソーシャルビッグデータの利活用に必要な観測データの取得・伝送・蓄積・分析といった一連のプロセスを扱う基盤技術には，研究途上にあり，実用化に至っていないものが多い．国内でも様々な研究開発が行なわれているが，それらの技術を実用化していく上では，センサー，コンピュータ，ストレージ，ネットワークを実際に用いた実証や動作検証が必須となる．また，分析の結果，得られる状況情報が，どの程度公共の目的で実用的か等について，実際のフィールドで検証できる必要がある．しかし，上記のような実証・検証を行なう実験環境を，一般の企業や研究機関が用意することは，従来容易ではなかった．本講演では，こうした研究のための共通の実験環境を提供する大規模オープンテストベッドとして，我々が構築・運用を行なっている JOSE （Japan-wide Orchestrated Smart/Sensor Environment）について，その概要を示すとともに，具体的な実験の事例を紹介する．

While the APIs of major biological database have different query mechanisms and syntax, we have integrated them so that the user can query and retrieve data in a unified manner.
