注）１５世紀（？）〜１６世紀後半にかけて上関の長島の丘陵上にあった城塞。
以下参考文献によると 江戸期の資料〜防長風土注進案の記事では「長島の天満宮にある御船手組 村上図書の奉納した灯籠の碑文から引いて、能島 村上氏の村上義顕（〜1458年没）が、上関に海関を設けて築城し村上吉敏〜武満と続いたと伝わる」
一次資料上は１６世紀後半の村上武満対馬守が在城の記録があり１５世紀〜１６世紀前半にすでに築城されていたという同時代記録は見つかっていない。伝説の村上義顕の実在が確実な一次資料は現在なし。

大内義長時代　陶晴賢らと衝突し村上氏が追放され、宇賀島水軍が一時支配したが、奪還したと言われる。
能島・村上氏が毛利氏との関係がこじれて、来島村上氏が一時支配した時期もある。

天正16年（1588年）の海賊禁止令で海賊行為、徴税特権が失われ・・役割を終えて廃城していったようです。
村上武吉は関ヶ原以後、一時期 上関領主→周防大島和田の領主として毛利氏家臣団に組み込まれた。

Que the modified EP appearing to challenge the R34 to a Wangan battle, the EP promptly destroys the R34, this is then repeated on a track...the final meeting is on the dragstrip where the R34 owner has bought a new car to beat the EP. Sadly although the EP gets the drop on the R34, the car suffers mechanical failure and the R34 wins. Just shows what a bit of knowhow can achieve on a 1.3ltr engine!
