まだ名前が判明してない敵を倒し、影になったマリオは急ぎオドロン寺院を出るとイベントになり、急いでウスグラ村の入り口に向かう前から元の体のマリオを取り返すために名前はまだ付けられないため、イチコロバクダンを見つけたらカゲ三人組の元だったビビアンに渡して、選択肢はどれでもよいので話を終えれば仲間になるけど、ビビアンは言った「バケモノを倒すんでしょ？」ってコメントに残っており、再度オドロン寺院へ向かうため、木にのっている鳥とお話しするにはカゲがくれさせ、話を聞き取ったら行きましょう。井戸の場所へ向かって敵は無視して、ンの文字を手に入れたらまたウスグラ村の繋がる土管へ入って道に戻り、僕の名前を当ててみなと聞いたら選択肢で名前を当てるを選び、ランペルと入力して決定を選択すればイベントは進み、最上階で戦ったときの場所に向かいます。向かったらイベント後にランペルとのバトルが始まり、2ターンが経過すればビビアンが一緒に戦うこととなるのでだまされた仲間は無視してランペルだけに攻撃を集中しましょう。ランペルを倒せばステージクリアになり、スペシャル技のカコンデポンが使用可能になる。だが、ピーチパートにはテックから問題があり、5つの問題に正解を解くのがポイント(攻略サイトを参考に)。クッパパートは会話イベント後に横スクロールアクションが挿入され、ゴールまで目指し、会話イベント後もマリオパートに戻ったら一旦セーブしましょう。

依頼を受けていくときにもう一度闘技場を行い、チャンピオンになるための見せ場を受けていきます。選手登録をし直しする前には選手の洋服を全て拾い、キノシコワに話をしてからゴロツキタウンの東エリアに向かってクリードにお届けさせておき、再度闘技場に向かってキノシコワと会話したら依頼は完了。そのあとに2部リーグから開始させ、もう一度チャンピオンになるまでステージ4は開始されません。2部リーグのクリクリブラザーズからボンバーズまで倒してランクアップ条件を満たし、1部リーグにあるアイアンシンエモンと再度戦い、2位までのバーストワンワンまで倒し終えてランクアップしたらセーブをしておきましょう。そのあと、9日後は1位のトゲノコエース、チャンピオンのゴールド・ホークを再度倒し、チャンピオンの維持ができるときにこの部屋は金策に使える要なので、それは後にして急いでウスグラ村へ行きましょう。次回Part.17も次のステージと言えるブタのためにカネはなるへ続きます。

バサバサ4体とのバトルをある程度戦い、レベルアップしたら7位のチームであるウラノコ達と戦い、これに勝利するとアイアンシンエモン2体と再度勝負し、チビヨッシーの技を使うのみこみをやってれば倒せます。戦いを終えた後、チビヨッシーが体力もピンチしか言えないため、シャインやほしのかけら集めしながら東エリアの屋根にいるテイルワースと会話してコインを支払い、物語の話を読もう。この後デアールに会話してチビヨッシーのランクをスーパーにアップしたらウーロン街の闘技場に戻って6位のチームと戦い、キノシコワから差し入れしてきたケーキを食べましょう(放置したらウラノコに食べられちゃうので注意)。5位のチームのレッドデビルズはスペシャル技のデッカクドッカンかマリオのハンマーにつけているバッジ「ジシーンアタック」でなければ倒せそうにないので仲間チェンジせずに倒すことを条件とする。そのあと、闘技場のクッパが現れ、これを倒し、4位の敵名となるヤリクロウの1体だけになり、条件をクリアして4位になった後は控室に戻ったらウーロン街の電話ボックスに向かい、倉庫の鍵を手に入れたら倉庫に入り、クラウダのふきとばしで吹きかけたらブロックを壊し、スイッチを押して階段へあがり、スーパーハンマーのブロックで壊して下のフロアへいき、光が入ってくる小さい穴を調べて会話イベント。この後3位のトリプルブロスと戦って、エキシビションマッチでスターポイント稼ぎしておこう。

で、闘技場で次のランキングに上がる前にはバサバサという敵と戦うことのできるエキシビションマッチを選んでスターポイントを稼ぎましょう。オリジナル版ではステージ4でしか戦うことができない敵でしたが、リメイク版はステージ3でも戦うことができるようになり、少なくなる前にはマリオのHPFPBPも振り分けしていくのもおすすめ。まだ調べてない敵がいる場合ならものしりで確認させ、残りはクラウダのふきとばしを使って倒すことがおすすめ。トゲダルマー2体を倒してランキングに上がった後はジュース店に急いでスーパーハンマーをゲットしたら大きいブロックを回転ハンマーで壊すことができ、2部リーグの部屋に入ったら大きいブロックを回転ハンマーで壊し、書類を手に入れたら戻る前にキノシコワから没収されるので1部リーグへ戻り、バサバサという敵と戦うことのできるエキシビションマッチをもう一度選んでスターポイントを再度貯めておきます。

新年も明けましておめでとうございます！これからもアップは続きますから。
ステージ2までクリアしたとき、まだガースを倒してないときにはお話しさせてここを通るために「10コインしはらいな」って台詞が聞かれたらやっつけるを選び、バトルしましょう。ガースは序盤でもバトルはできますが、この状態だと敗北に伴うのでマリオのHPが20、ノコタロウをスーパーランクで使える技であるコウラのまもりがなければ勝てません。ガースの攻撃力は3だけど、まずは仲間を前衛にするのがおすすめ。ものしりを調べたら次のターンでノコタロウにチェンジし、コウラのまもりを使えばダメージを防げるので楽になります。FPが足りないときはスペシャルのゲンキゲンキ!を使って回復しましょう。マリオはチャージさせて攻撃力をアップし、ノコタロウはFPを消費しないコウラの攻撃を使って繰り返しさせておけば楽に勝てます。ペラペラで隙間に入り、スネイルとうぞくだんのアジトでお話しさせて64コイン払い、西エリアでしなびたキノコとグルグルめまわしを購入しますが、その前におなやみセンターで依頼を受けていきましょう。依頼を受けている間、モコリムに話して999コインをもらいに受けるので、300コインを貸さなければいけません。その間にゴロツキタウンの地下にクラウダのふきとばしを利用してショートカットできる土管もあるのでこれを利用しましょう。ただステージ3へ挑む前には完了を後回しでも構いませんが、依頼は完了しないと危険が伴う可能性もある。
